Amazing place with heaps of classic arcade games from the 80s & 90s! I felt like a kid all over again. It seems these are now called barcades because alcohol beverages are served inside. That’s not why I showed up here, but it’s a nice option for those that want it. Since the games are only $.25-$.50 I guess that helps pay for the cost of the place. All I wanted was to go back in time for a couple hours and that’s what I got. It was great!

Loved it!!!!!! The place was huge with so many games and some games doubled!!!!! The old n' days feel was great. There was a bar with the ability to drink in the day after being carded at the door but after a certain hours no kids allowed which is great too. No cover to be in there and there were multiple coin machines - never waited more than 2 people. There seemed to be enough games for everyone and it was a rainy day. The tables in the back lit up and were cool. The bathrooms clean. So sad we don't have one in our town.

I went with a 12 year old grandchild, and we had a great time playing a bunch of games that were from my day.

Pinball machines, early video (pacman, etc.), shot 'em games, old side-by-side driving; they all worked and it was a blast.

We spent 2 hours here (could have stayed all day). I spent $30 in 'cards', but didn't use all of our credits. I passed on at least $5 to some other uses as we had to leave.

Staff were friendly. The place was clean. We'd go again.

Customer Service is poor and many of the games are either not working properly or shut down altogether. Pinball machines have obviously not been maintained in a while. This place only wants your money. Beers are $7+ and drinks are around $10, but they don't care if the games are working properly.

Several employees hanging out in front of the bar, smoking weed, not wearing masks, making fun of homeless people in the area. Quite disrespectful.

Hours on their website are incorrect, but if you don't know that, the person working the front door will insult you and cuss at you for it.

Avoid giving your money to this place. There are better arcades that want to treat customers like guests, not criminals, because that's probably all they see in this area.

Absolutely awesome!!! Fantastic collection of classic and contemporary games and great drinks at reasonable prices. They have everything from Pac-Man and Space Invaders to Jurassic Park and Aliens FPS arcade cabinets and a spectacular collection of pinball machines. Also, the drinks are great and the staff is super friendly. A great experience. Thank you!!

After entering with two children, we were told that minors have to leave by 5pm. At 4:52, we were told we had to leave after our kids tried to play a racing game. Apparently they wanted to start the liquor privileges early. They were good enough to give us our money back, but kids were disappointed. Do NOT recommend bringing your kids.

Great variety of old video games and pinball machines, they do a good job of maintenance in terms of keeping the games functional...and the bathrooms! The one plus: They have a bar! You can drink booze! The one minus: No smoking, not like the old days...But still...tons O' fun for an old-school fart like me! And cheap!

On our last trip to Portland (we were only there 4 days) - I dragged my husband to this place 2 nights in a row. I spent a small fortune playing the Adams family pinball machine and got drunk on quality Deschutes beer for cheap... what more could you ask for in a night out? Also had some weird vietnamese hotdog.. but that was solid late night drunk food.... I came home wanting to invest in an old school pinball machine.

This place is a must see for the young at heart. At night it's adult only with a great bar and three dollar pints. Downstairs is every arcade game from your childhood with Pacman, Simpsons, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Rampage and Paperboy. Each play is only a quarter so you can have a lot of fun on a small budget. Upstairs is a ton of pinball machines at 50 cents a play and tons of classics like the Adams Family. Over all we had an awesome time having a few drinks and playing the games we loved as kids.

If you’ve ever played a Simpson arcade game, shot the Borg with a pinball, or watched Tron with a sense of nostalgia you need to check this place out. Video games are a quarter; pinball games are two quarters (no silly tokens here!). The pinball games have this great deal where you get 5 plays for $2 (one more play than you would get at the regular rate). Outside speakers play sounds of the classic arcade to set the mood as you enter. Once inside you’re either transported back to your childhood or to a time you wish you could have enjoyed; only now you can. There are 2 change machines right near the entrance – do yourself a favor and get $5-$10 worth of quarters right away, then go find your favorite game and let yourself be a teenager. For me it’s all about the Simpsons arcade game and Star Trek: The Next Generation Pinball – pinball never got any better than that Star Trek TNG game. You go on missions, the cast lent their voices to the game, and you get to fire pinballs from rotating weapons platforms at the Borg and other targets – be prepared as there may be a wait for this epic game. Wil Wheaton even signed it, look just under Riker for his autograph. Wil Wheaton swears by this place and I can see why. It’s within walking distance from Powell’s, not in the best part of town but it’s location near the entrance to Chinatown adds to its sense of being from a different time. It’s also just a few blocks from Voodoo doughnuts. If for no other reason than your own curiosity, make sure to give this place a visit and don’t be surprised if, on your journey through time, you lose track of it.
