I had the great privilege of going on the half day wine tasting and waterfall excursion. Adam was the guide/driver and was potentially the most knowledgeable, patient, and funny tour host I have ever met. He is an expert on all things Portland, including the food scene and Columbia Gorge Hiking and wineries. He provided interesting commentary along the tour... More

We take a family vacation almost every year to various location. Usually it includes some type of tour. I search internet and Trip Advisor and found evergreenescapes. The staff helped us developed a tour of Portland and the falls area, They came up with a wonderful tour for us. The evergreenescapes staff was great to work with and Paul was... More

I did two tours while I was in Portland on vacation, and both were excellent. I strongly recommend this tour company to ANYONE who is a solo traveler! In my travels it's a major concern that something will be cancelled if there aren't enough people. This company conducted the Willamette Valley wine tour even though I was the only person... More

Thanks so much, Shannon! Bri showed me your review yesterday, and I'm so glad we could get you out on both tours! Getting to customize your Willamette Valley tour was fun, as it's always neat (and on our rainy tour day, a fun challenge) for the guide to try a new route, or a new stop. Come on back! -... More

First time to Portland, so I wanted to book a tour to get a taste of what Portland offered. Therefore, checked out the reviews on TripAdvisor... wine AND waterfalls! Brilliant! (The reviews were spot on.) Our tour guide, Adam Sawyer, was fabulous! His energy, Portland passion, and mastery of descriptive oration had the whole tour family riveted. I loved hearing... More

I booked a wine tour for my trip. Earlier in the week I was the only person signed up to go and I appreciate that they were still willing to take me. Upon prompt pickup, I learned 3 others were joining me who were sorority sisters having a similar weekend away. Stephanie was excellent - very knowledgeable, views were great,... More

Thanks, Donna! After our conversation earlier in the week, I was happy to see that last-minute booking come in. Stephanie came back from tour beaming, and said it was an awesome day. We're glad you enjoyed it, and we hope to see you again, whether you're back in Portland, or visiting us in the Seattle or San Francisco regions! -... More

This excursion was an extremely positive experience. Our guide, Aaron, was prompt, knowledgeable and very personable. We visited several waterfalls and wineries, with a coffee/tea & cookies break, and charcuterie tray at the wineries. Definitely bring raingear, walking shoes, and a camera to record the gorgeous Fall color and amazing scenery. This is an all-afternoon shuttle trip (6 hrs. door... More

The fall colors have been really great in the Gorge this year, and you came right at the peak! We love the seasonal highlights - the next one is the toughest to catch: When we get a decent freeze over a couple of nights (pretty rare here, with our mild winters), the mist from the waterfalls can freeze all over... All, we had Evergreen pick us up, right on time at our hotel and take us on a very informative trip out into the Willamette Valley. Adam was our guide and he was informative without being boring at all. They took us to 3 distinctly different vineyards and we had plenty of time enjoy the tastings, have an extra glass... More

Adam Sawyer was our guide today and all we can say is WOW! His knowledge of the city is fantastic and he is so likeable. He is the go to guy if you want food and drink recommendations too. He really made the city come alive and we will definitely be back to visit.

Stephanie did a great job showing our group around Portland and then out tomthe wine country (9 hours total). She had a good knowledge of Portland neighborhoods and wine horticulture. The tour included plenty of snacks and lunch.

Adam Sawyer was our adventurous, protective, entertaining, knowledgeable, charming, most excellent driver. I could not imagine a better way to spend a semi- rainy day. The patches of fog added a nice bit of mystery to the day, and the wineries were just a perfect blend of beauty, flavor, and camaraderie.
