Description:

Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through...

Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through some of Portland's most delicious neighborhoods from fine dining to food carts. Friendly guides make it fun, sharing stories of local culture and history, while you sample some of the best food in town. On all of our tours, we make 6-7 stops featuring casual eateries, higher end restaurants, a food cart, an educational stop, and a dessert location that reflect the way we eat in Portland. On tour, you may sample local craft beer, seasonal small plates, cocktails, tiny artisan cookies, micro-batch coffee, food cart goodness, and more, made with the ingredients & creativity that Oregon is famous for. You'll get the stories behind the tastes with your expert culinary guide. We offer tours in three of the city's greatest neighborhoods! Alphabet District Tour: Friday afternoons. Mississippi Ave Tour: Saturday & Sunday afternoons. Downtown & The Pearl District Tour, Thursday and Saturday afternoons. Our tour schedule varies seasonally, so please check our website for more details and to buy tickets!

I took the Downtown Portland tour as a way to get acquainted with the city and the food culture of the area. My tour guide, Ariel, was simply wonderful in every way. She was fun, charming, and as a single traveler, made me feel included in the group of all couples. She was also very knowledgeable, not only about the... More

We had a great day on the tour through the Alphabet District of Portland; Amy did a great job making it a fun experience. It's a fabulous way to get a taste and feel for the area, especially if you are not familiar with it.

The Division Street food tour had great variety and the food was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable about food and about Portland and her energy was infectious. I take food tours in many cities I visit, for an intro to the local foodie culture and for a delicious experience, and Forktown was no exception. Highly recommend!

This tour was interesting and delicious. Guide Arielle related city history in a fun way. Her love of art and architecture generated good conversation. The diverse food stops created a full meal. One should come hungery! The tour is a real bargain. I am looking forward to doing others from this company and exploring more of Portland

Forktown Food Tours was a great intro to the foodie mecca of Portland. We went on the North Mississippi Avenue tour, and it was highly enjoyable! Our tour guide was very passionate, kind, and informative. She was understanding and accommodating to peoples needs, and the tour never felt rushed at all. We ate at maybe 5 stops or so and... More
