A friendly and helpful guide and wonderfully cultivated choice of restaurants, coffee, sweets, and street food that gave a nice overview of the city.

My daughter and I did the Division Street food tour and it was the best food tour I’ve been on. 5 stops. Two with alcoholic beverage options and the most knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I would rate this as a must do for anyone...More

Anna was a great guide; so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the food and history/culture of the area. We sampled wonderful foods, ending with ice cream sandwiches that were out of this world!

We love exploring cities through food tours, and this one lived up to our hopes. Arielle was friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurants, food, drink, and Portland. We had a pleasant range of tastes and ended up full but not uncomfortable. She was very understanding...More

We recently had the privilege of taking the Food Tour of Portland with our guide Aerial and three other couples. The size of our group made it that much more personal and our guide was full of trivia about what we saw and tasted. The...More

The food on the tour was good and the tastings were interesting. Claire was a very knowledgeable guide but this felt more like a history lesson than a food tour. I was with friends and we didn't even have a chance to visit. It was...More

Forktown Food Tours - Which Tour? (1 Replies)
Hi all, I'm trying to decide between the Mississippi, Downtown & Pearl District and Alphabet District tours. I've never been to Portland, if that matters. From what I've read they all appear very popular, but I'd love opinions on which one is the "best."

The "best" in terms of...? Of the three, I think Mississippi Ave. is more interesting and out of the ordinary, and might choose it for that reason alone. You'd probably love the Alphabet District neighborhood, but most of the places they take you there, while nice, are generally ho-hum. Downtown & the Pearl has an interesting variety and range of tastes, but it's more of a big city, urban tour.

Forktown Food Tours or Portland Walking Tours (3 Replies)
Any advice on Forktown or Portland Walking Tours for best food experience? It'll be my first time in Portland and I'm excited to sample all the good eats there. Tasting tour of the different food carts, where to go and which is best. Thanks!
