Best kept secret in Portland. We loved the hike and the trails. Just get the right shoes and gears since the terrain can be a little tricky on rainy days.

Went with family for a picnic at the top. Was disappointment that at the top there is only one picnic table. That one was being use, so had to sit on the grass/dirt to eat. Besides this the views are wonderful of the city. Area gets very crowded and parking can be hard to come by. Plan of having to park and walk a ways to you location. No parking at the top, so have to be able to walk up hills.

Walking among tall trees and birds singing so beautiful and quiet. It is a must see in Portland. It has a place for kids to play and the Visitors Center was only open outside. I bought a really nice cap fior $15!!!

There was a very lovely lady at the entrance to the visitor center who was full of information. You cannot go INTO the center right now because of COVID, but they have a table of brochures at the doorway and the lady was very helpful at answering our questions. She stood behind plexiglass. We only had time to walk the trail up to the summit but were rewarded with great views of the city and Mt. Hood.

This is a great hiking/walking park. So many trails and choices to walk. Due to the Coronavirus, these hiking trails were not so crowded. Great walk here. Check out the dead Volcano.

This park is great for a walk through the trees, playing fetch with your dog or having a picnic. There is a view of the city from on top of the hill that is very romantic at sunset

Beautiful park with walks and trails in the middle of the city. Amazing views of the city and Mt Hood. Filled with walkers, strollers, families and joggers.

It is beautiful! They have a playground inside the park and our 3 year old loved it. Trees were breathtaking in November. They have bathroom as well which is great for families.

Loved the nature in the middle of the city. Lots of trees had me wishing I had come a month later when the trees started to change colors. I have back issues and was disappointed that I could not drive to the point to see the 360 degree view.
