Always something happening in the square

A great central location. There's always something happening here, festivals, dances and farmers markets. A great place to sit and people watch.

Just an unattractive hardscaped square. On the day we visited there was a festival celebrating Indian culture, which was fun for a bit. But unless there is something happening, there is no need to make a special trip to see this.

This is Portland's living room. Frequently has concerts, farmers markets and holiday themed events. Great people watching. Even the panhandlers are 'regulars' often hosts food trucks. Nothing else to do but watch potylandia stroll by

Visited this place on a Friday evening, and the place was hopping. It is sort of a brick combination plaza & amphitheater. Food trucks and food carts all around. On this night they were showing a free movie on a giant screen. The original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ~ so Portland. Loved it. Worth the stop.

This is the place to start your tour of Portland. Underground tourist assistance and sign up for tours and attractions. Something always going on here. Homeless are a distraction

My wife really wanted to check out this square, and I'm happy I joined her. It was full of people with tons of things happening. It was kind of odd to see an "Ikea Expo" while we were there, but it didn't stop us from taking some fun pictures and just enjoying this little corner of the city.

We were so glad our hotel was right across the street from this city block, because the fun and activity never seemed to stop! Nick named "Portland's Living Room" it is truly a public gathering place. From Farmer's Markets to"Flicks on the Bricks" there is always a reason to check out this spot.

Pioneer Courthouse Square never boring. You always find interesting things going on . Fresh food market or books. Shops all around and very good public transportation.
