I love going to Powell's! The best bookstore that I have ever been to. Bookstores are closing and Powell's is thriving; great selection and atmosphere.

We stayed very nearby Powell's and Teen daughter loves bookstores....They are open late, have a coffee shop, huge selection, used books, new books, rare books. Will definitely go back next time I"m in Portland. Loved it.

No matter what time you go by Powell's (during their open hours) it is packed with people. Great energy and you can lose yourself for many hours strolling around the multiple levels of the store.

A very wide selection of books in all categories. We have shopped for grandchildren in the children's section and for ourselves in numerous sections. Never been disappointed.
