Best and most affordable antique jewelery store in Portland

I shop for antique jewelry in every city I visit. I was tired of being referred online to another antique jewelery store in Portland that has so much new merchandise. As I was exploring the NW 23rd street shopping area I came across this delightful, well edited shop just off the main drag of NW23rd. I walked in and immediately felt at ease, unlike other such shops where you are hovered over. I was free to browse without intimidation. If I had a question it was answered promptly and in depth. Otherwise I was left alone with my thoughts. As an avid antique jewelry shopper I can say that Antoinette has some of the best prices I have seen on the West Coast. No, change that, she has the best prices. Her prices are more like auction house prices. I immediately fell in love with an Edwardian era necklace and purchased it on the spot. That's unlike me. Usually I have to think about a piece, and visit it several times before making a purchase, but this piece and the price was just too good to be true. The shop was busy with young and older men shopping for engagement rings for their beloveds. The selection was wonderful. Of course now that I've found this gem, I'm told that they will be moving shop in April to Multnomah Village, which I gather is just soith of the city. I will definitely make the drive next time I am in town to see what other finds have been discovered.
