Have a Picnic!

Perfectly pretty location for a picnic. Dress warmly in layers, as it does get chilly. While your here, explore the lighthouse. It is worth the tour.

Nice, small park. Not far from the Cape Blanco lighthouse. Several miles from highway 101 but worth the drive out.

Fabulous place to camp and walk to the beach. All sorts of nooks to explore. Loved it! If you want a cabin though book in advance... we loved our tent site!

We used the state Park beach access to get down on the beach and walk. It was a great beach but very windy that day so we didn't stay as long as we had planned. Beautiful views though!

Great park. You can park on hill overlooking ocean and take the short walk to Lighthouse or drive up closer. Suggest the walk. They had knowledgable volunteers at Lighthouse very knowledgeable about history of area. We walked the trail thru the woods on way out which was very good.

After several days on the road and two rugged days on the California beaches we were treated to a night camping at the spectacular Cape Blanco State Park Campground. The drive out to the coast from Highway 101 is awesome. Super scenic. And, the campground is garden-like, tropical almost. Clean. Tidy. Beautiful plantings. Bathrooms and showers are clean and convenient.... More

Enjoyed camping here. The spaces have a lot more vegetation between them than most other parks. Great privacy! The beaches are fun to walk on. I especially enjoyed the tour of the old farmhouse and the history of the family. The camp hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. A beautiful lighthouse to see. Definitely worth a visit!

Stayed in Falcon cabin a few days ago. Enjoyed the view of the ocean from the front porch, picnic table, and fire pit. Appreciated the heater, the double mattress, and the attractive curtains. The cabin was clean and well lit. The only negative is that the bathroom is a bit further away then is typical for other campgrounds I've stayed... More

Even though the lighthouse was closed on that particular day this is still the most wonderful place to visit. It was terrifically windy and stormy the day we were there and it was hard to stay on your feet...yes, that windy! But even so we saw breathtaking seascapes and views from every angle, and my husband took amazing photos. You... More
