As we meandered up 101 from the Redwood Forest towards our destination in Gold Beach, I gazed out the window. When we drove past the area by Myers Creek Beach I screamed PULL OVER! We all ran out of the car with our jaws on the floor because the scene didn't look real. It was absolutely gorgeous!!! The sun was shining on us but the fog was rolling in on to the coast creating a surreal looking view that I will never forget. So don't speed by- keep your eyes peeled and pull over- it is certainly worth the stop!

This is another spectacular stop along the Southern Oregon Coast. It features a beautiful beach and wonderful rock formations. The rocks or 'stacks' come right in to the beach. Some of the sea stacks have been carved into arches by the wave action. It is part of the Pistol River State Park. Access is easy as there are a number of pull outs along the highway with an easy walk down to the beach.

Meyers Creek Beach lies on Oregon's southern coast where the small Meyers Creek meets the Pacific Ocean. This ocean beach is seemingly a forgotten gem as it lies well away from large metropolitan cities. Nearly 2 miles of soft silky sand stretch along the Oregon coast creating this beach dotted by large haystack rocks. During low tide large pools are left near the bases of the rocks, creating nearly perfect reflections of the surroundings. Occasionally high wind conditions create temporary sand dunes that are later washed away during high tides. Though the high winds can be obnoxious for beach goers, many wind surfers come to tackle the waves.

Wen have a large 5th wheel RV and the Pull Off is large enough for several Big Rigs. I think this is the BEST Beach for walking and for scenery on the entire Oregon Coast, If you have a dog or kids it is worth the stop. Make sure to take plenty of Pictures. We always stop for a hour or so.

We stopped here as this wasn’t one of our predetermined stops just because everyone else was. Are we glad we followed the other cars because this place is just heavenly. Of course we didn’t swim but just admired the natural scenes and were they ever spectacular. This should be a stop for you on your road trip!

My husband and I were driving up the 101 from California and trying to make as many stops as we could along the way with our two young children. We stumbled upon Myers Beach completely by accident and I'm so glad I looked over in time to stop the truck. This beach is unbelievably beautiful. I am from Oregon, so I'm used to a pretty beach, but this one takes the cake! The Kids enjoyed running along the shore and collecting pieces of whatever sea life they could get their hands on. The huge rocks that run along the beach are amazing and they have a large pull off viewing area to boot. If you will be nearby you need to stop here and take in this little piece of paradise.

Driving down the coast, we spotted the huge boulders. We stopped & went down to the beautiful beach. No one else was around & it felt so secluded even though we were within eyesight of the coast highway. Loved to massiveness of the boulders together with the crashing waves. Lots of great pics here!

We stopped by the Myers Creek beach during our travel up the Pacific highway and were delighted by the views of this place. The kids had an awesome time running and exploring the beach, and even found several oyster shells throughout the beach. The views were stunning here! Highly recommend

This is a great beach for exploring awesome sea stacks.
This is a very scenic area of the Oregon Coast, every viewpoint is worth pulling over at in this area from Cape Sebastian to Pistol River.
