One of the great things about Lumos is being so accessible. Just off the Corvallis-Newport Highway (US 20) just north of Wren off OR 233, the tasting room has beautiful views. The wine is top-notch and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Set in a historic barn, the tasting room at Lumos has tons of character and the deck offers a wonderful view of the vineyard and surrounding mountains. They had live music when we visited and trays of cheese and bread to nibble on. Very unpretentious and inviting. Wonderful spot in the mountains, but close to Corvallis.

The winery is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. What a beautiful location! Their wine tasting room is equally nice with a good selection of complimentary snacks to go with the wine. As a group, we tried all of the wines they were sampling. We preferred the reds and found that we really enjoyed their wonderful pinots (noir). Lumos is on a list of wineries to revisit!

We came to Lumos for my cousin's rehearsal dinner and it was gorgeous. The sun setting over the vineyard was beautiful and it was the perfect setup inside and out. The pinot gris was a little sweet for me, so I went with the rose of pinot noir. It was crisp and refreshing on a hot summer evening. I also tried the pinot noir, which was smooth and buttery.

We stopped in to sample the wines and have a picnic on a Saturday afternoon. The tasting room is in a tastefully re-purposed barn. The view from the barn was spectacular and the wines we sampled were delicious, particularly the pinot noir. The tasting room staff couldn't have been more welcoming.
