Nice place to get the beautiful Pendleton blankets and wraps. They have a small museum at the back dedicated to the Native American influence and examples of beadwork. They also have a room full of "flawed" blankets etc. which are discounted. Masks are required and staff were wearing them at all times. They also sold luggage, purses, clothing (men/women), towels, baby blankets and other baby items, and hats. (Not an exhaustive list, but that covers most of it.)

I purchased a Pendleton Sequoia Anorak from the sales lady over the telephone. She was, I thought very helpful in selecting the product. I was told it was not in their catalog and there was no way to view the court on the website. The sales lady told me if it didn't fit there would be a return label enclosed to return it for free. I purchased it and it shipped the same day, two days later it was received in Texas. The coat was too tight for my wife and was lined and would be too heavy in Texas.

The sales woman also told me there was no way to review this product on line to see if it was the right product.

I called about returning the jacket, and was told I had to pay the return postage. That I needed to contact their Customer Service Website, who have still not called me back regarding help with the product selection. They told me they would give me a return label but it would return it to their warehouse in Nebraska and the store would not want to credit the price back to me.

While trying to return it on line, I entered the product number from the Packing List and there is the jacket to be viewed on line before purchasing.

I called the store back and she referred me back to the CS line, and I explained they had told me I needed to return it to the store. I asked if she had requested the District Manager give me a call. She said she had but again told me she probably would not return my call, since they did not have a store manager.

This store goes out of there way to sell you on their quality and customer support to support a sale. Unfortunately it is nonexistent when you want to return a product. From the sales woman not being familiar with their return process to not allowing me to review the product on line, this has been a net loss of an experience.

So between the sales people not being familiar with store return policies, District Manager's not willing to return a customer's call and the entire experience leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth I cannot in good conscience recommend shopping at this store. I am now just returning the. product instead of replacing it and staying away from the Pendleton name. They do have a good product, but support for dissatisfaction is not one of their concerns. Very typical customer support attitude when selling a good product. People will continue to shop from Pendleton, due to the name regardless of customer service experience.

Good luck with your transaction with Pendleton, I hope you don't have any need for interaction beyond paying for your product.

Pendleton blankets are heirloom pieces, both functional and beautiful. I love them, and they are not inexpensive. However, if you’re more interested in the functionality and beauty of the blanket, rather than perfection, then the flagship Pendleton Woolen Mill is THE place to find “seconds.” The back room of this shop has a selection of slightly imperfect blankets that don’t pass the scrutiny of quality control. Typically, they are about 30% off retail, but sometimes additional discounts are available. The seconds will have a cut Pendleton tag, will be labeled with the “defect” code, and the defect itself will be marked with a piece of tape. Some if these defects will be nearly impossible to detect on your own — others may be a hole or a stain. Regardless, I find great joy in the hunt. There’s almost nothing better than spying the blanket pattern you’ve had your eye on for years, but with an imperceptible flaw, that you can take home for so much less! Score! When tours are available at this mill, I highly recommend them. They are fairly short, but informative, and help you appreciate the craftsmanship behind Pendleton wool blankets.

I am a Northwest guy and Pendleton products have been in my life for over 7 decades. I am a 100% disabled vet so purchasing a $400 blanket was a bit of a push. We bought items from the bargain section which were good looking items but just off a bit not perfect. We spent 2 hours looking and walked out with several stunning items now brought into our home for a great price. These products will outlast you and are worthy of passing down.

I was happy that this was on our way to Portland so we dropped by at opening. The tours of the mill are not going on due to Covid but we were glad to be able to shop. The blankets are really nice but not our style. I did like the state park items but also did not find anything I HAD to have.

We ended up buying a Pendleton jigsaw puzzle and 2 scarfs (made in Italy). Nice to buy with no sales tax!

Be sure to drop by the Chamber of Commerce in Pendleton for a 10% off coupon!

I grew up in Pendleton and bought all my woolen fabric at the Woolen Shop for my "Home Ec"classes at PHS. In fact, I would get requests from other parts of the country to buy fabric, because the reputation of the woolens. I take my out of town guests to the shop, including the museum in the back. In 2016, I arranged to take my PHS classmates on a private tour and it was a real hit! The tour quide was very thorough and started at the top of the building where the sorting occurred, to the bottom resulting in the finished fabric. As an RN I do appreciate the attention to Covid 19 restrictions. Please consider a visit!

We were passing thru Pendleton on our way to Seattle so had planned to stop here. It’s September 1st 2020 and so there is NO TOURS here at this time due to covid. The shop is open so you can shop here but that’s it. Gotta wear a mask in their shop. Fitting rooms are there so you can try on but I think they prefer just trying it on right on the shop floor which is cool. They have a great range of items: Caps Beanies Jackets Shirts kids t.shirts teddy bears mugs coasters bags blankets table runners raincoats socks headbands sweaters coats table mats throws just lots of cool stuff. But be sure to check the labels as I was going to buy a puffer jacket with a cool design on it till I saw it was made in China. Buy made in USA😊 Happy we stopped buy it’s a lovely shop would have liked to have taken the tour, but hey there’s always a next time!

Great little museum at the back of the store. Be sure to visit! The staff were helpful and the store/museum were all using good Covid19 precautions. Bought a beautiful blanket and some nice socks. We'll be back to see the Mill when Covid is over.

Fun to finally spend time walking through this store. Blankets just gorgeous. Huge selection. Large selection of men’s and women’s clothing but a little disappointed to find that only the blankets are still made at the mill, everything else is made overseas.

It is time we begin to enjoy the art of what is around us, what we use, and be very aware of these things. It was so nice to go into a place and actually see the art and what is created that we can then wear and use. This is why it is pricier. I made certain to pick up something in my price range and enjoy the colors all around. Highly recommend.
