Looks like the new clubhouse/pro shop will be a beauty. Spring aeration going on this week. Only 9 holes open at a time it appears today and tomorrow. The pro/assistant pro? running the pro shop this morning, May 13, is not very good with people. Watching him check others in and myself ..... he should not be the “face” of the organization interfacing with the public. I would rate him 2 stars out of 5.

Great place to play. Not necessarily the easiest course in the world, but not overly difficult. Nice club house and friendly people. In addition the casino is nearby for the non golfers.

It is a Scenic golf course. The course isn’t extremely difficult. Well maintained. We walked the back nine. It wasn’t too strenuous. We were informed upon arrival, we needed to be wearing collared shirts but not when we called to make reservations prior to packing for our trip. When the clubhouse construction is complete, it’s going to be a great place.

We played the course as part of a class reunion. We rented clubs, they were not clean even though the desk reception gentleman said they were new. The course was nice and we played the front 9. Two of our players were only signed up to play 9. He complained and said we were too slow and had ruined the day for them. We fell behind one hole at the 8th hole. We had to stop for the rest room and he yelled us because we were not on the tee box yet. I walked over to the tee box and he then proceeded to yell at the other player coming out of the restroom saying we were three holes behind. By the 14th hole we had caught the group in front of us. We were backed up on the 18th and the group behind us had not even arrived at the 16th tee box.. We played the 18th as a 7 player group. We finished and the group behind us was just teeing off on the 17th hole. He came out to give us a hard time until a player pointed out the group behind us was still on the 17th hole. I asked where to take the rentals and he said, "just follow that guy." I did and parked right behind him. When I went back to get my license and credit card he said, "No, you can't get them until you bring the clubs in." I said you told me just to follow that guy. He gave me a nasty look and said, "I did not say that." I went back out and brought them in. What an a hole who must have never taken a customer service class.

Nice course to play. Terrible customer service. Course Marshall is a complete D bag. Won’t be going back any time soon....

Our son is getting ready to go back to school for his last year of college so we took him out for dinner we thought it would be nice to go to the new clubhouse and it was nice to look at, the staff seemed friendly however the food was disgusting. My son and I ordered the chicken fried steak it came with slimy vegetables lukewarm gravy and the chicken fried steaks were deep-fried processed meat it was horrible. The biscuits that came with the dinner were dark brown on top like burnt and when we didn’t even eat our meals and returned them the waitress didn’t even have an apology didn’t credit the check or anything. Not even a goodbye when we left.

I also tried to Visit the pro shop. It closed one minute before I tried the door the guy was standing there and looked at me didn’t even wave or offer to let me come in nothing just ignored me and walked away. Needless to say we will not be back.

We started out with a quick lunch in the clubhouse. I had a great grilled ham and cheese with tater tots. Yum! Perfect fuel before our round. We were there in early October and the course was in fabulous condition. Play moved very well. Very enjoyable!

Love the course, need to stay out of the sand traps! Challenging for all levels, hopefully, no winds or watch out!ł Snack shop offers surprisingly great sandwiches.

This was a first for both the wife and I. The carts are really nice and well taken care of. We were only able to get 9 holes in, but for her first time golfing in 20 years, it was perfect. Wind can be a challenge, but that's a given on any course. We will be back and try for 18 holes next time.

Fun course, wind can be a challenge. Greens tricky to read for non-regulars. Rough is not very tall, but tends to grab your club. Do not try to finesse your chip shots - get on the green and then face your putt.
