We went on the tour when my sister and brother-in-law were in town. Holly was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job telling the interesting stories of the people who lived and worked underground. You can't visit Pendleton without going on this tour!

This was one of the trip from our cruise boat. Very interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable. The building which we entered the underground was owned by her family. There is an introduction film and the tour. Takes about and hour.

We had read that the Pendleton Underground Tour was kind of special. Well, it was very special! We called and made reservations directly with the company which is a non-profit and also runs the Working Girl Hotel. We tried to stay there but they only had 3 rooms. Anyway, We joined about 12 other people in a back room at... More

Another great attraction to see. There is so much history here. If you want to see how the town was then this is worth it. You can visit a brothel( no working of course), tunnels and even a jail. Our guide was wonderful and full of information. Just be warned there are a lot of stairs.

I enjoy history and adventure. I felt both while under Pendleton. And was much cooler than the hear of Summer above. Anecdotal and factual rolled together. It was presented well. It was not difficult to navigate. For an hour and a half of enjoyment, 15 dollars was a bargain! I will be back..

Pendleton Oregon has a western vibe with one of the oldest western stores in the country. Known for it's western history and world class rodeo, Pendleton also has a dark past. You can visit Pendleton's dark past by taking the stairs down below streets and sidewalks of this western town. You will find hidden gambling rooms, prohibition bars, Chinese underworld... More

This was an optional tour offered during our riverboat cruise on the Columbia & Snake Rivers. Never even knew an underground like this existed. There were living quarters, a laundry, a butcher and more. It's pretty much still intact. Our guide was very informative. Highly recommend this "piece of history".

This was so fascinating! We learned so many interesting things on this 90 minute guided tour. I am definitely planning to make this trip again. If you love history, you won't want to miss this.

We enjoyed this informative tour of multiple time frames in Oregon history. Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. We came on a recommendation from a friend and will refer our friends to come as well.

Exceptional look back at years' worth of Old West, Pendleton history. A lengthy (~2 hour) tour of the former Underground featuring a jail, Chinese workers' quarters, a bar, an opium den, and more. Also included is a tour of a former bordello, the Cozy Rooms, right around the corner and still largely intact. Absolutely fascinating and worth every penny.
