Amazing

Acres and acres of wheat and barley, some harvested and more being harvested. Fun to watch the people and combines at work.

I grew up near Helix, so of course I'm going to give it 5 starts. Beautiful wheat fields, perfect weather and wonderful people. What's not to love.

The food was pretty tasty the last time we went and ate. I think we may go back again someday. Thank you

The breadbasket of America right in this small corner of Oregon. Take an hour or two to see what is really important to sustaining your life . . . the basic foods.

VERY picturesque - Rolling fields of wheat with Wind Turbines in the distance. Best seen in the spring when the wheat is young and green contrasted by plowed fields and the Blue Mountains in the distance.

Helix has a great little Rodeo every Memorial Day weekend. It looked like there was about 400 people there. Not sure. It is very close to the windmills. If you ask a local person, they can direct you how to drive over the windmills to Pasco, WA. It is amazing up there.

Helix is a boring little town, very quiet but I would suggest a bike ride through. Scenic if you like wheat fields and the Blue Mountains.
