Pioneer Park is a nice place to take a walk and many people do. It's dog friendly with lots of open space, a baseball diamond, playground and a stream that winds its way through the park. Nice, friendly people and lots of birds and squirrels to watch.

This park has a play structure that will entertain kids 2-12 for hours. Very well kept no undesirables when we were there. A few teens but they were all very friendly and enjoyed sharing there park with my family and grand kids.

Right in the midst of stately, historic homes is the nice, shaded park. Clean, very well maintained, pet friendly (on leash).

Went to the park after our stop at Buckin Bean coffee across street. Nice interpretive sign on pioneer cemetery part of it. A very large, fun looking kids play structure. One of largest we have ever seen. Kids love it. Easy walk to downtown and main stret activities

This park has had a wonderful wooden play structure for several years now. What is interesting is that it was torched by an arsonist 2 times and the local people got together and replaced and rebuilt. I think you are safe now.

The park has a very nice "fort" looking playground for younger kids. It will be an unlimited imagination play time for them. It's tucked away in amongst houses so is a nice quiet place but not far from main street. It does have one side on a somewhat busy road. There's lots of grassy room for the pets and plenty of sun and shady areas. Teenagers will find the "fort" area cool for about 5 min then will be bored out of thier minds. Ths park is more geared for young kids or get togethers who have a lot of young kids with them. There's not much to the park but does have a neat historical record to it. It has a limited pathway for those who are wheelchair bound.

This park has a great section for young kids including a baby swing. It is also wheel chair accessible and has a handicap swing. There is a nice pavilion and large open grass area, although I'm not sure what types of chemicals are used to maintain the green grass. The parking lot is small and hard to maneuver, but I recommend the street parking. This park would be a great spot for a birthday party.

Fun for the kids - great playground equipment and a good place for a picnic, birthday party or just a break.

went with a friend to the park, she paints rocks and hides them around town for people to find, we put some in easy to spot places for children.

Our 4 year old son loves this playground. Love the big size and all the different ways kids can play - lots of swings, slides, nets, spinning, climbing, tight-rope, etc. I do wish the main area was shaded, as it gets hot in the summer. Also there seems to be a problem with big kids climbing up into the upper "treehouse" area, which is barred off, but that doesn't stop them.
