This place is expensive, yes. If you can get your snow gear outside, do so. I got ski lessons and the kid snow board. A bunny lift was also in the package although I never used the lift. I had KC as my ski instructor...More

Enjoying Mount Hood in March weather is funny if you love outdoors. We have such fun EVERY time we ski/board on the mountain. We especially love low crowds, easy parking and rain/ice/melting snow/furious winds at the peak. We had it all yesterday and most every...More

Horrible service in the alpenstube restaurant on 2-25-18 at about 5:30pm. The restaurant was NOT busy and was about half full. We ordered two baileys - coffee drinks when we sat down. It took 20 minutes to get the drinks and when they arrived they...More

My wife took a lesson as a first-timer snowboarder. I went as a medium-level snowboarder, comfortable on blue or black diamond trails. We both had fun for a day.

This is my home mountain so I am partial. Their food and attention to details gets better every year too which I really appreciate. And, they always have great beers but, if you’re reading this Meadows and Double Mountain, the beer A Zone is awesome...More

Went there for an afternoon / evening of skiing on Super Sunday, which was great - the place was nearly empty. It was a really great outing, but I do need to give them "just" four stars. I'll take a half point off because even...More

The staff is very helpful and very friendly. Also, a very user friendly locker room to change into your ski clothes.

As with most ski areas, the skiing is completely dependent on the weather. Last year was great with an abundance of snow. This year less snow thus far into the season but conditions were pretty good the day we went. Meadows has a lot of...More

OK, so conditions weren't ideal when I went -- windy and icy with persistent wet snow (i think they call it sleet) most of the day, making for challenging visibility at times - but the whole experience was positive, from the easy parking to the...More
