On a 90• day we went down the Snake River on a jet boat with 30 other people. What a blast!! The pilot did one fantastic job of guiding the boat through the rapids. Stopped on the rivers edge and they laid out a picnic lunch consisting of build your own wrap, macaroni salad, potato salad, fresh fruit salad, brownies... More

We love remote places, and Hells Canyon is about as remote as it gets if you’re dependent on a normal car to get you there. We took the short morning Granite Creek tour – far enough down the rapids to get a little bit splashed and enjoy a little bit of a thrill, but without being really white knuckle stuff.... More

Earlier this month we booked the Kirkwood Jeatboat Tour from Hells Canyon Adventures and we did not regret our decision. The drive from McCall that day was about 3 hours but quite scenic, we actually changed our itinerary to be able to take this tour. We had less than 12 people on the boat so it was quite nice, not... My dad, myself and two adult son's took the Kirkwood trip. Beautiful hot day on the river. Was a complete blast. So glad we didn't get the 2 hr. trip. After going through many class IV rapids we stopped for lunch (provided in the Kirkwood trip) at a beautiful little spot called sheep something. Great lunch. Next up, more rapids... More

Thank you for the review! So glad to hear you enjoyed your Kirkwood Adventure in Hells Canyon! We enjoyed spending the day with you too! Isn't Sheep Creek amazing!?! It is so nice to see the beautiful green grass and sit underneath the big shade trees. It is definitely a little piece of paradise in an impressive canyon! We hope... More

We did the Kirkwood (all day) jet boat trip on the 4th of July. What a fantastic way to enjoy our beautiful country on this holiday. We saw a bear, big horn sheep, rapids, and tall canyon walls. The trip was well orchestrated with 2 stops on the excursion, including a very nice picnic lunch. I must admit that my... More

Remote place to access, but awesome to see. View is best from the water and the jet boat trip is worth the price. Captain was very knowledgeable, so we learned about the history of the canyon, dam, and current issues facing fish and dam licensing. Some trips are very mild; don't be afraid of the term jet boat. We took... More

We had taken this tour on 7/21 in the afternoon. It was advertised as a 2.5 hour tour. The tour had started late. The captain did not gas up the boat until we were all boarded. We ended up leaving at least 1/2 hour late. The co-captain seemed ill prepared with giving the safety instructions for the boat. The captain... More

We appreciate your review. Every review encourages us to reflect on how our customers perceive how we are preforming. Customer safety is always our number one concern. On 7/21, our Afternoon Granite Creek Adventure departure was delayed, from the customers view it appeared as if our Captain and crew were disorganized and not prepared. The reality of the situation was... More

We take the day trip at least once a year and send any out of town guests on the trip as well. Enjoy history and adventure in one fell swoop. Our kids enjoyed this trip at every age, from pre schoolers to college age. Never a complaint about running up the river with HCA. Also, the service is stellar. While... More

This has been on my to dos since 1981, and my wife's for ever. Hells Canyon is a protected area that sits on a fault line in the deepest canyon in the United States. The ride starts below the third dam in the canyon, Hell's Canyon dam. There is a boat launch where the ride begins. Our Captain for the... More

So much fun and yes we even got splashed. We did the 5 hour tour, didn't see any animals but did see several kinds of game birds and Bald Eagles too. But, if you are looking for the crazy water soaked ride, this isn't it. Check out the guy with a boat called "boogie boat" out of Lewiston. His people... More
