Nice. Good shops. Many choices for food. Great beach access. Take time to visit just 5 minutes off Hwy 101. You'll go back.

Hidden little treasure in Newport that we found looking for a restaurant. Great little shops, definitely higher end, and cute restaurants. Really loved walking through checking out the architecture and beautiful boutiques.

Its a beautiful beach and as some have mentioned, likely to have some serious wind. But it is historic, unspoiled a bit funky and resembles a New England beach town as well as an Oregon one. There is one beach walk for a Vietnam memorial that is truly touching and some well curated shops , a first rate gallery, and we... More

Great little enclave filled with several distinct shops and cafes. Very first class neighborhood. When you dine here, you feel like you've been here more than a couple hours. Next time we'll try to stay here.

I see by reading other reviews...there's Nye Beach and there's Nye Beach. To me it is the beach...sand surf and wind not shops and restaurants. I love looking at the beach from our room at the Elizabeth Inn and I like walking on the beach. It is a whole lot easier to look at it than it is to walk... More

Beautiful beach even when it's cold and windy. Easy to get to, lots of parking and several entrances. When Temps are in the 90s and 100s in the valley, it's usually in the 60s at the coast. That's just right. Make sure you bring your jacket. One day I was there you didn't need a jacket at all. August usually... More

The Center for Visual Arts in the Nye Beach turnaround was the perfect place for a family reunion. The beach was accessible and the scenic view was beautiful. It made a great background for family pictures. The flowers planted by the center were alive with color.
