The Nye Beach area has a lot of hotels, shop and restaurants. It is next the beach, so it is the place to go when when you take a break from beach activities.

Filled with shops and restaurants, this is a great place to spend the day. The candy store has excellent fudge and caramels and there are several alternatives for great coffee. Don't miss the pizza/coffee shop up the hill.

Back in the eighties this place had a certain magic too it. They have really let it go down hill. A lot of the buildings are in disrepair and they are dilapidated. This place is basically a tourist beach now.

Nye Beach was a must see in my road trip through the Oregon Coast. Not only is a beautiful sand beach, but has that aura of past splendor that captivates you. It was still cold, but still walking in the beach was a good experience.

This area has built up over the years, now being somewhat of a touristy area. There are some higher buildings and stores with variety of items for sale. The Chowder Bowl, an informal seafood restaurant which added on awhile back, sits back from the arch...More

I enjoy viewing the art and other lovely and unique decorating and gift items in the stores. Just walking down the sidewalks within sound of the ocean is pleasant.

You go back in time when you wander the Nye Beach area. The beach is awesome, as well. A favorite area for our family to visit.

Stopped here to stretch our legs after driving from Seaside. Lots of street parking close to the beach but it was also the low season. Lots of space to wander along the beach and enjoy a nice afternoon.

Not at Nye Beach. It is just a short 2 block strip that has good restaurants and access to the sandy beach.
