I've been to the Wax Museum a number of times since I was a kid. While it's good fun it is a bit dated. The attractions haven't really changed in a number of years and are showing their age. If you've never been, give it a shot.

A fine way to spend a rainy day but otherwise not really one of the better wax museums. It seemed a bit over priced. One had to read what the figures were as some were not recognizable. The bigfoot was nice and well done. The star wars figures were poor.

The posted closing time on the door was 4 PM (though online it showed 5 PM). We arrived at 3:45 and the sign was already closed (before 4) with the attendant just looking at us through the window then dodging eye contact. The outside speaker and audio was going but it was not to happen for us this time. We... More

We always do Ripley's when in Newport, so this time I got a Groupon pass and we tried the Wax Works. To sum it up, I'd say it's selfie heaven. I would drop off a group of teen age girls with cell phones and let them have at it. There are lots of opportunities to take photos with wax creations... More

Only a few wax statues placed in very dark places so you can't tell if they are good. Few recognizable people. More non-wax displays than wax ones. The Mt St Helens movie was very fuzzy and poorly put together. Nova has a really good one - should use that instead. But why was it there anyway? There was no corresponding... More

This place had some neat movie scenes and other interesting stuff. Jonny Depp has been here for quite some time I remember him from 6 or 7 years ago but other characters were updated. There's a Lord of the Rings scene, a Star Trek scene & Star Wars scene just to name a few. The kids enjoyed it here overall.

Scenes recreated from movies with nicely depicted celebrities. The America's Got Talent set with a real karaoke setup is very cool. We did our first karaoke with "walk this way" and "friends in low places" and it was a blast.

This is one place that my daughter is still talking about and wanting to go back to. She asked if we can go back every month! My husband and I made the most of it and had fun playing along with everything. I liked the interactive stuff in there.

Was fun and creepy. I jumped several times. It might be a little scary for small children. I liked it more than Ripley's, as I thought is was scarier.

I went here when I was a kid and for the most part it looked pretty much like I remembered it. I wasn't expecting Madame Tussaud's and we weren't disappointed. It was a fun excursion that lasted about 20 minutes.
