Took my kids here in the late '80s and they loved it. It was interesting to the adults too the first time, but not now. The kids in our group, ages 12, 10 & 4, thought it was awesome! An okay stop but once is enough, nothing changes.

We were expecting more from this. Was just okay. Kids had fun but liked the wax works more. We got discount tickets for this. I would have rated it lower had we paid full price.

I'm not sure this place has changed in the almost 20 years we've been visiting the Newport area. Our kids (teenagers) still seem to enjoy it and it's a great way to get a laugh or two without an electronic device involved!!! Not something I would adjust my travel plans for but certainly worth it for some innocent fun.

I'd probably take a pass on this attraction. My 12 year old son enjoyed some aspects so that why I give it an average rating vs poor.

Our close friends wanted to go to Ripley's and our family went along thinking it wouldn't be our thing.....but....it was actually....really cool! The exhibits were very interesting. Our kids (age 12 and 13) were highly entertained. If you have the time while you are in Newport, this is worth seeing. Some of the exhibits might be a bit scary for... More

Our six year old backed out part way through and would not continue; too scary. I continued and read the text describing the exhibits that were mostly photographs of unusual things. Might be worth it if part of a three-venue package or deeply discounted but definitely not worth $9. Go across the street and watch the sea lions lounge around... More

The admission fee was overpriced and you definitely don't get what you pay for in my opinion. Overall this attraction was just "ok" and not something I'd really want to see again unless they reduced the admission rates to under $5..

Was really disappointed in this. Very few improvements to the exhibits since I worked here as a teenager 25 years ago. We did love the addition of the sound/movement wall (daughter and I spent 10 minutes playing here). Part of the "Ripley" show wasn't working. Disappointed.

Unless you are in middle school, or aspire to go to middle school then this is your best bet for entertainment along the bayfront in Newport. Everyone else.... You may ask yourself, as I found myself asking, why is this innocuous collection of nonsense here, and more importantly, why am I here? This isn't a "meta" question. Seriously, what the... More
