What a great aquarium. One of the best we have been in. Would recommend it to anyone, any age. The talks that are given by the people working at the aquarium are very knowledgeable. The exhibits are very friendly to the guests at the aquarium

Lot's of interesting fish and sea life. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very educational, not too large for those who have small kids or are older. Can easily see everything in an afternoon or morning.

Plan on taking your time as you wander thru the Aquarium. We like to sit in the Shark tunnel and watch the beautiful Preditors swim past us. They have a touch pool that is spectacular. A definate must stop every time we are in Newport, Oregon

My family included kids 8-16yrs old & they all enjoyed their time here - really was something for everyone! Even though the grounds aren't as expansive as some places, they really do pack in a lot of information & exhibits into the space they do have & there's attractions 'hidden' around every corner. Sometime you have to ask where are... More

The Oregon Coast is beautiful and quaint. There is not much on the coast that is corporate or chain. There is no real "big city" culture out here, which the beautiful scenery aside, makes the Oregon Coast so special. The aquarium is a pleasant departure to the quaintness of the coast. This is an aquarium large cities across the States... More

Was super to visit this beautiful sea aquarium and its out door activities but the price was over rated. We promised the kids so we went. Average price 20 dollars per person. The photo they take from you at the entrance is 35 dollar!! I call that a legal robbery. They should offer this As a perk when you go... More

We took our teenage grandchildren back to the aquarium after a hiatus of 8 years. We were impressed by the newer exhibits and reassured to see our old favorites too. The touch pool is still a good place to get a hands on experience and the otter pool is fun during feeding time. We were turned off by the crowds... More

They pack a lot of information, exhibits and aquatic life into this small space. Much of it is indoors so it is great for a rainy day. The habitats for the larger animals are outside but there are viewing windows under cover. Ptesentations and feedings occur throughout the day and are entertaining and informative.

The best part of the aquarium is the sunken treasure exhibit. The aquarium itself is small. There wasn't much to see and can easily be toured in 45 minutes even if you read everything.
