About
The Lachini Estate Vineyard is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Portland in Newberg, Oregon. From the beginning Ron and Marianne Lachini have focused on producing ultra-premium, single vineyard Pinot Noirs. Lachini Vineyard embraces the time-honored principles of uncompromising desire for quality and long-term stewardship of the lands from which they harvest. Their commitment begins as growers of Biodynamic grapes and ends with exquisite wines that bear measurement against the test of time.

We visited this winery at the Woodinville location. It was a pleasant winery. We purchased wine tastings. Most of the wine was fine. We purchased two bottles and didn't get our tastings waived.

Found this gem with Luke of Summit Wine tours. We wanted good wine at a good price point and beautiful views while tasting, and Lachini delivered. Good selections of reds and whites with unique mouth feel and characteristics, especially in the higher price points. Really enjoyed the visit and the hospitality!

The tasting room is half tent half garage, but according to drawings on the wall a new tasting room is due for construction. Quite a selection of wines, not all of which come from OR grapes. However, a nice change to taste the odd Bordeaux style wine. Produce a very nice rose. The Pinot Noirs have good structure - whole cluster and use of native yeasts to start - then matured in French oak - should produce a well made wine. Their wines have collected a number of awards. A winery you should try when in the area.
