Played 18 holes with my best friend. Beautiful sunny day mid 70’s and most of the course was dry. We lucked out with weather and a dry spell. Not playable if lots of rain so catch it when you can.

This golf course is amazing! The greens are as nice as world class golf courses, but the little club house is like family! If you want a fun and relaxing day of golf for the family or group of friends, this is the course for you! Reasonable prices, friendly people, and beautiful coast scenery can all be found at this course!

Neskowin Beach Golf Club is a small nine hole private golf course owned by a collection of residents from the adjoining village. The course does have one paid member of staff, hired to care for the greens and act as the Superintendent. I played here a couple of times and found the course to be an enjoyable “Executive” style course. No par 5’s, but two par 3’s and the remaining all par 4’s. There are no bikers on the course but if your ball goes in to the rough forget it. The course is laid on marsh land so some area are quite wet and boggy. Greens are small and considering the whole place was run by volunteers until recently, they are in good condition. The course won’t challenge the serious golfer but for a quick nine holes it was fun and easy to walk. The volunteer staff at the office are very friendly and we chatted for a while about the area and then where I was from. If I’m ever back in this area, I would play here again.

I've been playing this course since 1964, and while it's no beauty, it's still "a good walk spoiled". Depending on how late the spring rains stick around you may not be able to get on the course at all until late June. Then, if you're around Neskowin in September and the autumn rains make an early visit, the course can become unplayable very quickly. July and August. Yup, that's your best bet. The locals call it, "Neskowin Swamp Golf Course" for a reason.

Thank God that the Neskowin community put up the money to rescue this iconic golf course from the previous slummy owner. The course is in great shape, reasonably priced and fun to play.
