We were a party of four riders and were so excited for this experience. But, it was really bad karma right from the start. The owner, Judy, was gruff and very rude -- and gave us not so much as a thank you after the ride. She loudly and rudely yelled at me for taking photos while on the beach... More

The guides said the 10 year old on Cookie was smiling on the ride and seemed happy. I was asked by a lady as the ride was leaving if the horse was limping. I said she has arthritis in her knee. I didn't take the time to say anything else to this lady as I was on a mission to... More

2 hour afternoon ride in mid July with absolutely perfect weather. Our guides were a great balance of expertise and enthusiam. I really enjoyed my horse,'Skeeter'. He was a good balance of energy and interest for a so so experienced rider. What a beautiful place and way to spend an afternoon. The ride even made my 16 year old guest... More

What an amazing 2 hours!!! Make sure you do the 2 hour 9am tour. You ride the beach and go through the the most beautiful forest/dunes. The horses are great as well as the guides. Probably the most fun on horses I've ever had. Highly recommend this company!!! Great for all ages.

We were a little turned off by the voicemail we heard and the attitude of their people when we called and actually went to the place to see if they had availability. Maybe because they only had one more day left in the season and had enough for the summer. They prefer CASH! The ride was definitely beautiful on the... More

On our honeymoon, having a great time exploring the coast. Just dropped by to book a reservation for a ride. Nobody was around so I walked to the coral to pet one of the horses sticking his head out while I waited. A woman from afar yells "out! Leave! We're closed!" To which I exclaimed, "your sign says you're open... More

We wanted to check out the Oregon coast without just spending the whole day in the car or on Cannon Beach. We actually found OBR on TripAdvisor, and have had pretty good luck based on reviews, so decided to check it out. Who doesn't want to take a horseback ride on the beach, right?! Best decision we made all vacation!!... More

We did the 2 hour ride on 8/28/2015. It was great to ride over the first sand dune and be met with the Pacific Ocean for as far as you could see. I thought the ride along the beach (about 40 min) was fun and it was great to watch the huge waves come in. The ride then turned inland... More

A pleasant, slow walk from the pen on the bay side, over the dunes, onto the beach. An incredible setting. The ride leader had things under control. Great with kids, 12 & 8. Would have preferred to trot a little, not just walk, and a little more education about horses and the location.

Very nice people running this operation and they cater for both experienced riders and nervous novices. After selecting horses for each riders ability you ride out through dunes and along the wide beach area. They take everyone's photos and constantly monitor everyone's progress. As an experienced rider I would have liked to gallop along the beach but that would not... More

Contacted horse back ridding business. Spoke to the owner. She was able to accommodate our party of 5 that day. She gave gave me the price and advised the credits are accepted. We paid 75$ for each rider. I am a bigger man ( anything over 200 lbs is considered big) she was able to accomidate me with larger and... More
