About
Diamond Woods Golf Course is a 7,000+ yard championship golf course. Opened in 1997 and designed by Greg Doyle, the course offers a unique, and exciting layout that offers a challening golf experience to golfers of all levels.. The front nine is characterized by open holes while the back nine features more tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain and surpassing views of the valley and far-off snow topped mountains. Water, so plentiful in our part of the country, comes into play on seven of our holes to add to the excitement. Additionally five sets of tees ensure the entire family will enjoy our golf course. Voted Top Ten Golf Get-Away by the Oregonian with award-winning on-site event lodging, theinnatdiamondwoods.com, Diamond Woods is an enchanting and memorable experience that makes you want to return for more!

Found Diamond Woods Golf Course to be challenging and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, better then more expensive golf courses. The Deli food was great and the service was fast and friendly. There are many tee boxes for all levels. Greens are fast and true. I would definitely play here again if I'm in the area. The one minor issue I had was the grounds keeping during the round. I found it to be a distraction at times.

Steve, thank you so much for your review three years ago. As on-course owners, we are striving to make the course better every year and we take your comments seriously. If you have not been here lately, I just wanted to let you know we are in the third year of a four year fairway sanding program. The course is playing better than ever. We have lowered our rates, include free range balls with your paid 18 holes and offer free replay rounds that day (space availability) We hope you will stop by again and experience our improvements. Sincerely, Diamond Woods Staff

An excellent course but with its terrain will give you good exercise. Green fees in line with other good courses in the area.

This is a fun course with water, trees, and a great view on the back nine. I wouldn't call it an extremely challenging course, but it has its moments. If you walk the course, the back nine is really hilly. This is one of the best values for a course.

I haven't played here in a very long time. The course was in decent shape. There were several soggy spots which given our current drought was unexpected. Didn't care for most of the tee boxes (gold) as these were 'crowned' rather than flat.

We teed off late and rather than pair the twosomes or singles with others, everyone was sent off 1 by 2 by 4 by 3 by 2, etc.. It was the slowest round I have ever played, almost 6 hours. No marshal around to enforce their policy 'keep pace'.

I might play here again but definitely not in my top choices.

Dear Oregontraveler477 thank you so much for your review in 2015. You were right on and we took your review to heart. We are in year three of a four year fairway sanding program and the word is getting out! The course has never played better. Thank you for your review and please know that in the last three years, our times have gone from seven minute to nine minute tee times and course utilization is dramatically better. We hope you will stop in the next time you are in the area and see how much things have improved. Again, thank you for your helpful review. Diamond Woods Golf Course
