Could Be Better!
Feb 2019 • Solo
I gave this place quite a few tries over a couple of months, and the first few times I was impressed. I'm on a mission to find the best fish and chips (cod, because every damned time I've had halibut fish and chips, it's been dreadfully dry). The first few times the fish and chips were hot... beer batter perfect, and although the fries were crinkle-cut, they were hot and tasty. However, the last time here the fish was awful... perhaps it was the time of day (late morning)? It tasted greasy and the flavor was totally off. I'm sticking with Gaffer's from now on, unless I'm too lazy and wasn't something more convenient. Also, it's be terrific if their corned beef and cabbage was on the menu full time, instead of just twice a month when they have their live music Friday nights.

Decent Experience
May 2017 • Friends
Stopped in on Friday night - a pretty okay place. Had a pretty good French dip sandwich, they had a few Irish beers on tap and some live music. The drinks and food were not super-expensive, service was solid. I enjoyed my visit.

Only Irish is the name and the posters
Mar 2017 • Couples
My wife and I ate here a week ago. About the only Irish item on the menu that we could find was something called Irish Nachos 9it involved nacho cheese over tater tots). Otherwise, it was just like any other pub but without any real attractiveness. It was was rather threadbare and worn. The food wasn't bad; I had a burger and my wife a club sandwich. All in all, a pretty forgettable dining experience.

Local Watering Hole Where Everyone Knows Your Name!
May 2016
Duffy's is a fun little Irish Pub in downtown Milwaukie. The bartenders, cook, and everyone there are all very friendly. I have been going here for almost a year now, and it's a great place to go when you want to just have a cold one, maybe some bar food to nosh on, and visit with friends.

Karaoke on the Weekends!
Mar 2016 • Friends
I really enjoying singing Karaoke here on the weekends after 9pm. The Staff is friendly, and the environment is upbeat. This Irish Pub wears many hats, it's a good place to watch a game, or see a live Irish Band!

Train Beer!
Mar 2016
Duffy's is a place to go to get a quick happy hour drink, eat some tots, hang out with friends. The vibe is low key, decent beers on tap. When a freight train goes by PBR is super cheap. I meet friends here once a week or so and it is just a great place to hang out. Always order at the bar and they treat you like you have been coming in forever!

Reasonable Local Pub
Mar 2016 • Friends
Local bar that has Irish Pub in the name, but very little that would lead you to think that on the inside. They had a small Irish flag and a Guinness sign and that's about it. Very limited menu. Fish and chips and some sandwiches and burger. Soup and salads and a few appetizers. Not much looked Irish. Apparently you can order other things not on the written menu. Drink prices, as well as food prices seemed good. 5 TVs around and they show UFC fights on fight nights. We came for an awesome Irish band, Darby O'Gill. They play on the 1st and 3rd Fridays. I'll come back for them but probably not otherwise even though I live fairly close. Service was decent, restrooms are single occupancy and nothing special.

Go to see the band!!!
Feb 2016 • Friends
Went to see the band as usual. The food and drink this time around was terrible. I asked for a margarita. It was terrible. Way too much tequila and it was very poor quality at that. My friend ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. It was clear!!!! I ordered the chicken strips for dinner. They had too much bitter breading on them and I was not offered any kind of a dipping sauce for them. The wait staff seemed dazed and confused, until about 730. Then a gal came on who should have been there all evening. We go to see the band, but I will eat before hand and only drink water from now on.

Nice Neighborhood Pub
Dec 2015
Has all the basics of a good neighborhood. Nice friendly staff. Pool table. Good selection of beer. Decent food. Close to light rail and transit so you don't need to drive. Been twice. Will be back when I'm in the area.
