While in the area we took a break from consuming wine to check this little gem out. Talk about impressive, this place is the real deal. You get to actually see the family making the products that are going on the shelves. We were able to talk with Bob while he worked away to fill the shelves of the shop.

There is also a gift shop which has all kinds of cool gifts that you won't find anywhere else.

This place is a must visit in the area. It is actually located in Milton Freewater now not in Walla Walla which is about a ten minute drive. This means that you are in Oregon and there is no sales tax, bonus!

I LOVE their hand warmer mugs! They have beautiful pottery and lots of other gifts for the home! If you go next door there is a coffee shop and some clearance items. Fun outdoor landscaping items, too.

Having fun is what our Mystery Trips are all about. From traveling to another state just to throw everyone off to going the long way around to give everyone a false sense of assuredness. So After our stay in Walla Walla, WA. we headed back down into Oregon to Milton Freewater to visit Clay in Motion. What is that, you ask? well it looks like a 10 min stop along Hwy 11...maybe you stop, maybe you don't... well let me give you a great tip...STOP! And that is all I am going to say.... because you have to experience it to know what is there... I say this because I had looked into this for a stop and thought, hmm maybe not this time, doesn't look to interesting...then someone who had gone came in with such enthusiasm about their visit, I decided to put it on as one of our stops.... we spent 2 hours there.... the folks are friendly, informative and it was just a great place to shop, learn and visit! Find out for yourself what a great find this place is.

Although the pottery made on site is the main attraction, this place has something for everyone. Starting with the pottery shop, you can shop and watch the pieces being made. They have beautiful pottery at reasonable prices. The facility also includes a gift shop with lots of creative options, an espresso/coffee shop and a nice outside courtyard with outdoor decor.

This is one of my favorite places to go shopping for christmss or birthdays. Their gifts are hand crafted, reasonably priced and great quality. Employees are friendly and products are worth purchasing!

This place is huge. They do lots of clay and art in motion.

We were walking the rows of all kinds of clay, like pots, dishes, decorations and cups.

Outside they have lots of clay for the garden. It is really beautiful!

Worthwhile to see!
