My experience with ROW is all positive! From the communication before the trip, to the introductory welcome talk, all the way through the goodbyes, I can't say enough good about everyone and everything. The 5 guides were all very professional, friendly, personable and fun to be with. The trip itself, was amazing. We want to do it again! Full of fun, excitement, adventure and thrills, you can't go wrong when you book a trip with ROW!

Scenery and crew were wonderful. We stayed in lodges along the Rogue, and given the high temperatures and insects, we were very glad to NOT be camping. Crew was excellent and highly experienced. Tom was a superb trip leader. The rapids can be difficult, we had one raft flip on a Class III rapid with potentially serious effects - but the crew was thoroughly trained and quickly got everybody safely back into the rafts. Many birds and other wildlife spotted from the rafts. Side trips, to the Zane Gray cabin or the Rogue River ranch were very interesting.

ROW Adventures put on the best rafting trip ever! Kids to grandparents all had the most memorable times. We went on a 4 day Rogue River trip. We did the lodge trip, warm showers, wine, home cooked dinners and breakfast in the morning was perfect. There was also time for hiking, singing and games, totally entertaining. Our guides were just the BEST! Keep us safe, taught us river etiquette, took historical stops, made different lunches everyday, had people swimming, jumping off of rocks, having the best trip ever. The brought out inflatable kayaks for either the quiet areas, or if you were brave, some of the smaller rapids. A trip that memories are made of, 2nd trip, hope to do it again!

Went on a 3 day/2 night rafting trip with ROW on the Rogue River - incredible trip! Everything about the trip was fantastic - the Rogue is absolutely beautiful and exciting without the fear of death (mainly class 2 and 3 rapids), saw bald eagles, black bears, minks, turtles, the ROW guides were great and very knowledgeable about the river and its history. We stayed in two lodges (Black Bar and Marian's) which are worth the trip alone - beautiful settings and excellent food. I was with 8 friends and the total group was 21 people, which included two children about 10 and 11 (minimum age is 7 I think). You can ride on the supply boat if you don't want to do any paddling or in the 6 person rafts or, for stretches, in inflatable kayaks - you can change whenever you want. Should also mention that this stretch of the Rogue is a Wilderness area, so there are limits on the number of people who can raft it each day - we hardly saw any other people. It was a great opportunity to re-bond with old friends and make new friends - just a wonderful adventure. (This was actually my second trip on the Rogue - back in about 1997 went on an Orange Torpedo trip with individual inflatable kayaks - that trip was great when I was younger, but this trip with ROW was better now that I am in my 60s). However you choose to go, the Rogue is a great river for rafting.
