We recently spent a few days at Howard Prairie where we thoroughly enjoyed a boat ride on this beautiful lake as well as some hiking around the lake. The campgrounds are maintained very well by the staff, which is much appreciated!

They have grates, but I would bring a grill to place on the fire pit if you plan to use it for cooking. The grates are heavy bars too far apart for BBQ'ing on. If you have a coffee pot or cast iron cookware, you won't need... More
