Yamhill Valley Vineyards is the oldest winery in the McMinnville AVA. We grow, produce and bottle all of our own grapes right here at the vineyard. Yamhill Valley Vineyards is located on a 150 acre estate in the rolling foothills of Oregon's Coast Range Mountains, one hour southwest of Portland in the Willamette Valley. The heart of our wine making is dedicated to Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Riesling. We have recently expanded our Chardonnay plantings and plan to release it to the public in the next few years.

Since our first vintage in 1983 our wines have consistently won top honors in tastings and judgings across the nation. Our 1983 Pinot Noir was the first place preference in the famous Wine Center in New York City. From our beginning we have been stubbornly dedicated to the pursuit of a character that is distinctively Oregon and distinctively Yamhill Valley. Our goal is to bring forth from this unusual and exciting property the finest possible expression of its intensity, charm and uniqueness.

We really enjoyed this winery and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, great location, beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards. Good wine too!- Left with a couple of bottles to enjoy when we got home.

This winery was last on the list that Debra Kabarsky from A Winery Tour took us to. It was a medium size winery, Yamhill Valley Vineyards, where the taster leader, Linda Arnold (Bobby from Youngberg Hill’s sister), surprised a lady in our party with two birthday gifts and two birthday cupcakes! What a nice surprise. What lovely people - and... More

One of our favorite wineries to visit when we are in McMinnville! You will not only enjoy the wines, but the outdoor seating area is so welcoming and relaxing. Linda and Lisa are some of the best! Linda has a personality that is so welcoming, They are both very knowledgeable about the wines they pour. It's a great place to... More

This was the first of our three Winery's we visited on our way to Portland Oregon. For $10.00 a couple we got to taste seven lovely wines. My favourite of which I purchased a bottle - was the 2012 Pinot Noir Reserve at $40.00 but worth the money. Set in lovely surroundings with a beautiful fountain / pond with Coy.... More

My husband and I stopped here on our way to McMinnville for a wine tasting. I am so glad we did! Linda behind the bar was a joy to talk to and she guided us to some wonderful wines. My absolute favorite was the Tall Poppy,a nice smooth red wine. The Pinot noirs were good as well. I was not... More

The view of the estates is amazing. You enter through a elegant arched gate and go down the driveway through the magnificent rolling hills covered with very well-groomed vines. Coming up to the tasting room is a bold and beautiful building named "Pinot Noir". In front of the building is a nice pond full of Koi fish and a wine... More

We got together with some friends on a Sunday morning, (table for 8) for a glass of wine and lunch. We ate inside for it was a bit chilly outside. Here is how the lunch went. I ordered a couple of bottles of the 2012 Pinot Reserve (I already knew this was a good bottle.), some 2013 Chardonnay, and their... More

Service was fabulous! Such a cute tasting room. The deck was a little too cold for us today, but what a little gem that is on a nice day! I would definitely recommend this winery. Tasting fee is $10, but they had very nice pours of 7-8 wines!

Casual and comfortable setting with a great view! Best of all was the conversation with the staff and regulars. Shared a delicious flight of 5 wines.
