The Indians now charge for parking. Time your trip to when the salmon are running. Stop at the Whitewater Falls when traveling out West bound, or when heading to Shears Falls from the East.

A beautiful water fall, not one of the tall kinds but quick and rough with powerful beauty. I really liked watching the Native American's fishing from the platforms over the Falls.

Awesome! Must go and see for yourself! Hang out and camp in the area during the summer months. Will return next year!

This is worth seeing! The force and amount of water going through this area is incredible! You can walk down and stand next to it and feel the spray from the rushing water and the sound of the force of the water is amazing!

I've been to Sherars falls a number of times. Best to visit during the October Indian Netting season. Great tribal tradition by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs

This is a must see. Sherars Falls is a must when in the area, the power of the falls and the mighty DesChutes River is exemplified best as you drive slowly down the access road and look at the anrrows, then see the water rushing...More
