This was a good find and we will be coming back regularly

This area was amazing and they have it sectioned off which is nice.
Everyone we met was talkative and raved about how long they have been coming to this area.
The water access is nice for non motorized water craft (rafts, kayaks etc.) and they offered decent parking for vehicles with trailers for gear.

Pack in Camping
May 2019 • Friends
This is a great camping area for those that do not mind packing in their camping gear. This park located right next to the river has a high occupancy rate. The $10 camping rate is friendly to families or rafters.

Your campsite must be occupied. No saving a campsite by setting up chairs. Strictly enforced.

There is water and bathrooms at this park. A large day use area with lots of parking.

Lots of old growth type trees and great walk paths make for an easy walk in camping area.

This beautiful park is well maintained as are all the Oregon State Parks.

Fishing is good here, easy to park with towing. Lots of water fowl, song birds, cranes, raccoons, squirrels, forest area is wonderfully relaxing. Great to hike, or bring a chair to just read.

Great place to fish for small mouth bass or just take a stroll

The area is somewhat off the beaten track and a little hard to find if you don't know where you are bound. The area is not huge but very pleasant. There are a number of ponds teaming with wildlife including recoons, beaver, otter plus great fishing. There are a number of walking trails and it's not over-used which is just great for being outdoors to reflect and be in a quiet spot to reflect on nature.
