Prehistoric specializes in the worlds finest fossils, minerals, and meteorites.. Come face to face with our animatronic baby trex as it comes to life. Break your own geode machine and a large kids educational toy area. Price ranges from 1 dollar to millions of dollars. We have spared no expense to offer an experience that is so totally different from your normal rock shop. All of our pocket stones are hand polished to give a higher polish and more natural shape. Our fossils are all originals from all over the world. Many clients stumble with what to call this wonderful place... Store, Gallery, Museum.. Well it is all of those things and more. Prehistoric also takes great pride in offering free classes and donations to schools all over the country. We have in our first 4 months of business reached over 500 students and children. We are very proud to be a part of this community..

Stopped by the store with our son and daughter in law. What a very cool place to go and browse around. The two guys were very informative and helpful. Such a cool experience for adults as well as the kids.

This is as much a museum as a shop. It is a must see if you are on the Oregon coast, and if fossils are a favorite gift item for avfriend....this is it!!!

This was such a unique place. My children loved seeing all the unusual rocks and fossils. Was even able to find all their names on souvenirs which is hard with uncommon names.

Interesting shop. Had fun wondering around. Loads of fossils inside. The dino in the door way is very fun.

Yes, this place is cool. Amazing stuff inside: fossils, rocks, gems, toys, exhibits, art, and a real, full-sized dinosaur skeleton. AND a robotic dinosaur out front! What more could you ask?
