Needed a place away from the chill and wind of the beach and this park was perfect. The kids (ages 4-10) enjoyed the playground as well as hanging out down by the beach area to throw rocks. There is a small enclosed shallow water area that my kids weren't interested in, but would be good with small kids. 8 degrees warmer than the beach a mile away (and no wind) so it was perfect for a chilly morning,

Family vacation with a six year old girl. The playground equipment was fun and adventuresome for her. She climbed all over it and made a few friends along the way. This kept her entertained for two days.

Best of all for her was the swimming. She swam for hours without tiring of it.

My husband and I hung out in the shade at picnic tables both days. The one a bit farther away from the action, actually had the best view of the lake.

Completely without cost one of our best experiences in Lincoln City.

We have visited this park several times. There is something for everybody. There is a swimming area bordered by a fishing dock. There is a boat ramp and a top notch playground. The city has been steadily improving this park adding a sculpture of Sparky the dragon at the entrance, a newly remodeled playground castle and a new pergola for later concerts and events. Also there are many picnic tables, clean restrooms, and a large grassy area to roll out your picnic blanket on.

Wife and I came to walk the trail. It was marked well enough. It was laid with gravel, but once we started it became futile. There were many blackberry bushes overgrown preventing our further travels. We turned around after 10 yards and left. Please trim the bushes.

Fun, one of a kind wooden play structure. Kids really enjoyed it. There is also a sectioned of part of the lake for swimming. Bathrooms are currently under construction, but there are port-a-potties available.

We've been visiting this park for years when we are in town. It's such a big and fun park with the really neat play structure. They also have an area for kids to play in the sand and water.

We went to the park for the nature trail hike. The park looked great, with a good play structure for kids, a boat ramp and a fishing dock as well as many picnic tables. The nature trail has seen some maintenance since the previous review though still a little arduous in places It was a short hike but the spruce tree listed as the highlight of the trip was spectacular. Mosquito-laden area though we didn't get nailed. I'd go back.

Behind the picnic tables are some travels that wind around in a hilly wooded area. There are a few benches throughout and also some areas with very large trees. It is a lot of fun for kids and adults.
