Dinner was delicious in the restaurant and the view was great. It was an average casino where you do Casino-y things.

Chinook winds casino resort is a perennial favorite for staff events. The venue has adequate meeting space with ocean view. The suites are ocean front with balconies. Wonderful.

Stopped in for the show. Not very expensive tickets for the show...not counting money spent in the casino. Was a good show with lots of laughs. Then spent an hour in the casino. We are non smokers. Wished their non smoking area was bigger and...More

We went here for the Mother's Day brunch. The selection was certainly excellent. The food was well prepared. The drawback though is that the stairwell is open to the venues down stairs and cigarette smoke came right up into the dinning area.

This is a beautiful Casino. Terrific breakfast buffet. We played slots but not table games. The had a good selection of all the latest slot machines. It was clean with a friendly staff. It's a great place to spend some time waiting for the fog...More

Evidently smoking in Native American Casinos is ok....and it was very smokey. They were also doing construction in the lobby so it was very noisy. Otherwise, it is just as expected...loads of elderly people with walkers and oxygen tanks. I don't really know how to...More

Like most Indian casinos it was pretty decent, but the machines are tight. We ate at the buffet at about 8:00 and the food was pretty well over done by that time--not very appealing and not worth $17 a head.More

Loads and loads of slot machines in this small 2 level casino. It is right on the beach and right off of Highway 101. I have been to other casinos and it is so smoky i can't stand it..but this one was very well filtered.

the prices change depending on day of week or month, the hotel is right on beach and you can bring a dog or two it is best to call ask the price for your date of stay.
What is the cost of the hotel?

When we stayed just for the night it was 75.00. We stayed cause some of us wanted to gamble it was a last minute thing.
First-timers, will be visiting in August and taking in the Tanya Tucker concert. I see from other Trippers a somewhat weird configuration of the seats/tables. One person said lots of locals/regulars prefer the seats toward the back which are more like normal theater seating. 1) Are we right to prefer those, so no risk of facing backwards somewhere else? (or are they too far back). 2) Since we will be buying our tickets online (when available), how will we stipulate that we want that type of seating only? Thanks!

Even though the room is configured a little strangely, one of the things I love about concerts here is that there are no bad seats. It is so great to be so near the artists....you don't get that at some of the larger venues.
