Small but Fun

Small history museum I just happened to go by and stop in, it was small but it was interesting to see the history of the town.

Had a very great time very well set-up and very knowledgeable staff. What we thought was going to be a 20-minute trip into a museum ended up turning into a two-and-a-half-hour adventure Through Time. Sounds corny but my five year old was loving every minute of that museum. Then the Crown Jewel was the kids play area upstairs.

Nice little museum stuffed with local lore. Large collection of Japanese glass floats from local beaches. Interesting logging machine. Homesteaders verbal histories. Native American artifacts. Did you know that Sir Francis Drake probably landed here in Oregon and not in California as previously thought...?

It was raining and we decided to go in and explore, and it was free! Was a delightful time we had looking at all the exhibits. They even offer a small reference guide that identifies items in the display cabinets. The upstairs level has displays and scenes depicting favorite tourist resorts of days past. Well used children's area. We probably... More

What a surprise my visit to the local historical museum was. I've been in the area for thirty years and always figured the museum would be a snore. Usually museums are pretty ho-hum for me. ...but this one was actually very well organized, informative and interesting. Great place to spend a few hours on a rainy day with your family.

My children and I really enjoyed visiting. We learned a lot about the town we live in and the rich history. The ladies who worked there were friendly and very welcoming. Its difficult to use your stroller in, but the upstairs more than makes up for that. I HIGHLY recommend visiting. Plus, its FREE!

I love his place. My ten year old was able to just walk through and learn new things. There is also some hands on exhibits and that was great. I would bring the family here again, as we all had an amazing time just looking through the museum. History is there and they have wonderful information to offer here. I... More

We have been to Lincoln City many times but have never gone there before. It was a pretty drizzly day so we tried to go to places that would take up some time. It was very interesting.
