HANDMADE IN THE NORTHWEST. Mossy Creek Pottery was founded in 1973 on six acres bordering the beautiful Siletz Bay Wildlife Refuge. Located just one scenic half-mile off U.S. Highway 101, the near century-old farmhouse is easily found as you travel on Immonen Road through a forest of spruce and hemlock. This hidden gem is home to the work of 40 Northwest artists. Inside you'll find a wide assortment of functional and decorative pottery in an array of glazes, representing the many and varied styles and techniques of our local and regional potters. Discover a little treasure for yourself or find a gift for someone special. There's something at Mossy Creek for every taste and any budget.

It is fun the see how the pottery is made and then be able to browse the gift shop and purchase something unique. The short trip of highway 101 is worth it and the scenery on the way is pretty too.

Ok I'm not a art person not really a pottery person either but my husband and I decided to stop and check it out. OMGOODNESS! What a cute place. I ended up doing Christmas shopping and even got a butter dish for myself! Prices were reasonable. Platters, mugs, bowls every size, lots of colors and lots to choose from! Glad... More

Mossy Creek sells pottery and the store is just charming. It is not too big and not too small and it sits beside the Siletz Refuge. It had just the right balance between size, space and goods that I could see everything and carefully select my purchase. Approximately a dozen different artists displayed their wares when I visited. I appreciated... More

Buy it while you are there, as when you are thinking and go back, what you want has been sold. This is just a great place with neat pottery. Also go next door to the Glass Blowing Shop?

If you'll be in Lincoln City more than two days, this is a must-see place to shop or merely visit. The collection of pottery by local artists is exquisite, offering the perfect thank you or birthday gift, or a piece for that special place in your own home.

We have shopped here multiple times on our trips to Lincoln City and Newport. They always have some nice pottery that is extremely overpriced.

Thank you for your excellent rating of Mossy Creek and your comments. We're glad you enjoy your visits, but are sorry to hear you feel the work is overpriced. We represent 40 artists and they all set their prices based on varied levels of skill and time spent hand-crafting each individual and unique piece. If ever you feel a particular... More
