After driving for miles over poor roads, we arrived at this attraction in the early afternoon to find it closed! I'm giving it two stars because their closed sign was cute, and the area was beautiful. Be warned. Call first and try to drive a vehicle you don't care about. Loose rock is on the road and slipping down hills...

We tried to visit on Sunday June 7 2015 but the closed sign was up and no one answered our call. We drove over anyway- ever hopeful but there was a "closed" sign on the driveway and no activity. Too bad - the reviews were awesome.....

Small, intimate restaurant - their focus is on breakfast so not a HUGE menu to overwhelm. The wait-staff (they may have been the owners/operators) were VERY pleasant and attentive, even for a solo diner. Food was excellent, and the dog-themed atmosphere was very fun!

I liked that the proprietor gave us advice and lots of samples to try. The prices are a bit high but if you want to cook something up with yummy organics or have a nice piece of fruit while at the coast then this is a good place. Beautiful garden, relaxed and wonderful atmosphere.

We got lost on our way to Driftwood Trail and came across The Barking Dog. We we're served champagne grapes, nectarines and peaches...all free. We loaded up on avocados, jalapeños, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, and champagne grapes. A perfect, pre-hike stop. LOVE!

If you love gardens, make a stop here. I could post some photos, but don't want to give it away. The owner will walk to the beds and pick whatever you want, the view is fabulous, and just the charm of the setting and the operation are worth a side trip down the river. Yes, it's organic produce pricing, but... More

Organice produce that is beautifully farmed, but it's NYC priced. Defiantly worth going and buying your favorite veggies as this is truly fresh- not sure I can shop here for our crew of 15, but supporting local businesses is very important!

A mile east of 101 along the Siletz River Hwy turn left onto a gravel road, then left again at the marvelous hand-painted sign, into a magical world of gardens and art. The veggie stand is around to the left, painted in fanciful figures by one of the owners, and includes a variety of produce from the farm and other... More
