For the last 20 years or so, I have rarely missed the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts. It is held in late June every year, and includes an amazing variety and quantify of high-quality art and craft items. There is a special exhibit in the Lakewood Center - 2016 focused on art made of paper. The building also displays... More

Downloaded the app (LO Art) and spent a lovely afternoon tracking down the various pieces of art. Every year, some parts of the collection change, while the best sculptures often stay and form a point of recognition

We saw a mention of the gallery without walls and had heard that Lake Oswego was a pretty town so we decided to go for a little drive from Portland (about 20 minutes). At first we werent sure where the walk was, but when we found the Arts Council the woman there was extremely warm and helpful and gave us... More

They do a great job of promoting the arts in Lake Oswego. There is a local art studio, lots of on street art of note. Wish they issued grants to local artists.

Not much to say other than lots of pleasant surprises literally around the corner. We started a 30 minute stroll from the Five Spices restaurant. Saw numerous public art installations. See photos.

I am a supporter of local artists wherever I go, and since I live in LO, I strongly support my local community of artists and crafts folk. They are generous with their time and help others to learn about different media, and what's available in the community. The Gallery without Walls is a beautiful way for people who are new... More

Lake Oswego has always supported the arts. That expanded to place public art on the streets and in the parks. The Arts Council is deeply connected to the outside world and has indoor space to show local artists. I have always enjoyed and been intrigues by what I saw. It is so refreshing for a small city like Lake Oswego... More
