Aj's Bar and Grill has been in Keizer for many years and is a convenient place if hungry or "Thirsty' The wait stall as well as the kitchen staff always seem to deliver good service and are willing to do their best to satisfy you needs. I do feel like it is time for the owners to upgrade the interior now after many years of letting it slip a little. Even though it is costly, it must be done to continue to remain successful. (especially the restrooms and carpeting need attention). With a little effort and a modest expense I feel they will be around for sometime.

It's not the easiest place to find and when you first walk in you might hesitate because it's stuck in the 60's decor-wise. The waitstaff is friendly - the food is ample and primarily "comfort food". The prices are good and the Sunday morning special on Bloody Marys is tough to beat. The only negative experiences I've had involved the eggs benedict. The yolks seem to always be really runny. The country fried steak is so-so if you like it with some spicy taste. The Friday and Saturday night Prime Rib dinner is consistently good with huge portions. The burgers are big with tons of fries and some form of them is on special most days. Overall it's just a really good place to go for some tasty "All-American" food.
