We did the Joseph to Enterprise ride. It's great! Rob was fun, informative and have us our space. Easy fun ride on the way there and a bit of exercise on the way back; but not too tough for for a couple seniors! Saw streams, deer, birds, etc. So much better than we anticipated, lots to see! Thanks Rob!

Our group had the best time on this ride. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the railroad and surrounding towns. It was tranquil riding along the river in the canyon and we had fun counting cows in the pastures. The locals in Wallowa were very friendly and the Oregon Berry Milk Shake is sublime, definitely worth the extra... More

We love to do a summer camping trip to Joseph, OR. It is such a beautiful part of our state and we love it. This year I made it my mission to do a few things which included a tour with the Joseph Branch Railriders. We had heard a lot about the Railriders tours from various people and when I... More

Hope see you again this summer. Our guide car is now uses and electric pedal assist. Guests will need to pedal but we can push you so that you do not have to over do. Happy Railriding. More

We pedaled a railrider from Joseph to Enterprise one morning of our first trip to the area. It was a very lovely and relaxing experience, and felt like we at least got some exercise before our long drive home. The morning tour was nice and cool, and we just beat the rain that started when we finished. Our guide Richard... More

Carts are well designed and ride easily and quietly on rubber train wheels.Easy going down hill on the way out to Enterprise through farm fields and forest. The peddle back was a bit harder but the guide followed us in a motorised rider so could have pushed us if necessary. We did not need it!

Great job! Congratulations. Most guests are able to peddle back to Joseph. We advise everyone to travel at a sustainable pace and take brief breaks as needed on the return. We replaced our gas powered guide railrider with a electric pedal powdered railrider. We are looking forward to this change. See you next season. Thanks for coming. More

This is a fun thing to do. The trip to Enterprise from Joseph is great because it's all downhill and you can coast and enjoy the ride. You have to seriously pedal on the way back because it's uphill. But it's beautiful scenery. Remember to bring some water and a hat.

Spent the weekend in Joseph - wow, what a great time! The Railriders is a wonderful way to view the countryside with family and friends. Our 'train' included a family reunion with all ages. The first half to Enterprise was level or slightly downhill. Coming back was more work but there is the option of a motorized "push" from the... More

Thanks for the nice review. We commonly have family groups. It is nice to see families enjoying time together. No doubt what goes down does go back up. Most guests do well. We can push a few back to Joseph. Ask if you need help. More

We took a Railrider excursion on our first morning in Joseph. Beautiful views and a (mostly) restful way of enjoying the countryside. The outward leg from Joseph to Enterprise is very straightforward. We were the last railrider car out and mostly just coasted along at our leisure until the turnaround. For the return leg we were then at the front... More

Thanks for coming. On the return we recommend setting a moderate even pace that you can maintain with a brief break for a picture. The return does require some energy but it is definitely worth the effort. One would not want to miss the Wallowa Mountains or the lush pastures of farm animals. It is a great time to break... More

We took both the 12 and 26 mile rides and were delighted to try this new adventure. The short ride goes from Joseph to Enterprise and back, the long ride from the tiny town of Minam to the City of Wallowa and back. If you ride bicycles, it is a snap! The views are lovely, but the same most of... More

Thank you for your response and suggestions. We do have a small map of Wallowa and suggestion for services in Wallowa. I am sorry that you were not given that information. I will encourage my staff to give the maps out more consistently. Happy travels. More
