We moored our pontoon boat at Wallowa Lake Marina while staying in a nearby cabin for six nights. The docks are maintained in great condition and it was easy to dock and access our boat. The staff was very nice and an employee even offered to carry our cooler up the stairs for us! We would definitely recommend this marina and plan to use it again.

We rented a pontoon boat for a day. The scenery from the lake is amazing, and the water is super clear. The boat was in good shape, the marina was clean and well organized. The marina store is nice. We anchored not far from the mouth of the creek that feeds the lake. We used worms and caught a trout with almost every cast. The kids had a great time.

Brandon's coaching introduced my spouse to paddle boarding as a life giving and peaceful activity. I am grateful for that.

Due to balance and mobility issues tied to MS, I kayaked. The men who helped launch and collect the kayak were respectful and creative as I got in and out of the boat. As I need to adapt most of my activities, they were extremely patient and helpful. Their diligence was unusual and appreciated.

Beware of these people. We rented a boat slip for 9 days, but we had to leave two days early. When we aked for a refund of the last trwo days, we were told we had to give a minimum of 48 hours notice to get a refund. Nowhere on their website nor at the marina we we told of that policy.

In previous years, that had not been a problem. Why the unannounced change in policy?
Other than that, we had no problems, but then what kind of problems can one have with a rented boat slip

We rented a slip for our boat, got advice on fishing, and bought some tackle. Moorage was clean, convenient, and secure. Casey and the other staff were friendly and helpful. Website was easy to use and I could easily reserve the slip.

We took our family to Wallowa Lake to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and fishing from a pontoon boat too! The weather was perfect and the staff was friendly, patient, and very helpful. This is a must for anyone visiting the lake!

As always, friendly and fun people at the Wallowa Lake Marina. We usually rent a boat slip during our stay and they are always super helpful. Also, they have the best tee-shirts, sweatshirts, Silipints and stickers. Thanks guys and we’ll see you next year!

Bring your own boat! ... The employee sent our 4 member family out on a 15' powerboat after struggling herself to get the engine started. She advised us "never to buy a Johnson engine as it is not good". We asked for a different boat, in the hopes of avoiding problems with the engine. She said "we probably wouldn't have too much trouble".
On our trip back we tried to start the engine and couldn't get it started. At that point, the engine pull cord broke.
Luckily, my husband was strong enough to oar us back to the marina. This could have been very tramatic if we would have been further across the lake or had we no one strong enough to oar against the fairly strong current of Spring runoff.
The owner of Wallowa Lake Marina is unappreciative of our delima.
Our advise to you, make sure the engine seems to start and run well before venturing accross Wallowa Lake! ... or as we will do next time, bring your own boat!

Our family decided to rent a pontoon which we'd reserved several weeks prior to our visit to Wallowa Lake. First, Casey was very friendly and professional when I made my reservation via telephone. Secondly, upon our arrival to the Marina store, we were very pleased at how nicely displayed everything was. Thirdly, we were VERY happy with the pontoon we rented. It looked like it had just been purchased yesterday straight off the showroom floor. It was clean, sparkling and very easy to operate. Everything was in perfect condition. We spent the afternoon cruising and fishing around the lake, enjoying every minute.
