On our visit to Ashland we had one day without theatre performances and just wanted to visit one winery in the Applegate Valley where we could take a picnic lunch. As it was a Monday, our choice was limited. Of the places we had not...More

Pioneer Oregonians were interested in finding idealic places to homestead, thus the paths homesteaders took became famous, and the path between the Willamette Valley and California was so named, the Applegate Trail. Today, evidence of such ideal places remain along the Applegate River, and Red...More

During our visit to Grants Pass, our friends took us to their favorite local winery, Red Lily, for an afternoon of wine and outdoor relaxation. The winery sits on the Applegate River, and has seating near the river, with an outdoor wine kiosk for those...More

Really beautiful - bring your cheese and crackers and buy their wines - they are really good. Sit by the river and enjoy! bring conversation or game if you're with company or a book if you're alone...

Owners deserve thanks for allowing public to visit this beautiful property. No food service, but an upscale wine tasting facility offers a great way to relax and chill with good friends. The three of us enjoyed a leisurely fall "leaf-turning" drive over from Ashland to...More

Very nice settings with beach chairs. Liked the wine ok. Prefer the wine glasses w logos instead of cheaper versions non logo. No umbrellas up on beach on a Sunday

Like most emerging 'commercializing' wineries in Oregon. Limited interaction and no depth to a tasting experience. They seem to rely more on glitz and other events as promotions vs. a true focus on explaining and presenting background and evolution of their wines. Nice river beach...More
