Tucked back in the hills outside of Hood, OR, this is a great local vineyard with a really good Sauvignon Blanc. The views of the mountains on a clear day are striking. Next to a country club with a golf course this is great place to come just to visit or play a round of gold and enjoy drinks after.

We were lucky enough to visit the pr I vate Vinyard and Vanessa was AWESOME! The views were amazing and very quaint. The dog Rose was a crown pleaser as well! The tasting room by the golf course was fine. It was stifling hot, the service was ok, and understaffed. We loved the Rose and Sav blanc... we I'll be... More

Vanessa was a great host(ess) at our tasting. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the vineyard and vintages were impressive. The wines are a bit pricey but not out of line with other Hood River wineries. The location is along side a country club golf course which makes it a relaxing place to sample their wines.

Fun spot to sample wine with family, great tasting wine. My favorite wine is the Cab and we managed to take several selections home with us.

The location/tasting room was on a golf course, a bit cozy with several people there. The wine was outstanding. Everything we tasted was worth a purchase. Super friendly and knowledgable staff. Even the Gewürztraminer was not sweet and excellent. Tasting fee waived with purchase, we walked out with 4 bottles. Pinot was a bit pricey, but it was excellent.

Phelps Creek had many Pinot's that were fairly good, but their "salesmanship" was off. It's hard to explain - they had the facts, but they seemed a bit aloof like here it is, take it or leave it. If you like Pinot wines (white and red), then you'd probably like the wine. However, their prices were the highest of the... More

The 7th winery we visited on this trip, tasting only the best Oregon has to offer. High quality wine, lovely, interesting people and if you opt for the winery tour and tasting (appt required), one of the most impressive views in the state.

Extremely well-run tasting room, adjacent to a very good restaurant. Excellent selection of wines, and most are absolutely first-rate. Only graded out to "4" because this area has a surfeit of fine vineyards. As the title indicates, the setting is utterly magnificent, with views of Mount Hood and environs.

We were exploring the area. Didn't see the sign to turn off main road to winery until too late. I'm so glad we turned around and found this place. Pleasant tasting room with knowledgeable staff. They are right off a beautiful golf course. Very nice wines. Just a little pricey. $10 for a tasting which is free with purchase of... More

Great people, great wine. Beautiful area. Glad they ship to our state! Right down the road from the aviation and auto museum.
