While on a car trip, my husband and I stopped in Hood River for lunch and, while walking around downtown, accidentally found this wonderful little store. They carry all types of quality spices, herbs, salts, sugars and teas as well as premium flavor infused vinegars and olive oils. We decided to taste some of the various flavored basalmic vinegars and were instantly hooked. Oh my goodness.......they are so incredibly delicious!! We walked out with six different flavored vinegars and are really looking forward to using them not only on meals for ourselves but also when we have company over for dinner. We even bought the dark chocolate vinegar that is so yummy, we can see using it either for breakfast or for dessert.
Whenever you're in Hood River, do yourself a huge favor and stop by this store. I am sure that, like us, you won't walk out empty handed but with a big smile on your face knowing you've bought something that is of the highest quality free of additives, preservatives, artificial coloring, MSG and sugar.

I bought a packet of gen mai cha and find it of high quality and flavor. The shop itself is very attractive and good space to browse for teas and other items. I would go here again and recommend it.

I visited here with a group of ladies and we all left with a bag full of goodies. The vinegars, oils, and fresh herbs and teas were all fantastic. If you are curious about a tea, they will make you a sample. They teach how to blend flavors, the website has a lot of recipes for their items, and there is so much to taste and try. Plan on playing in a sea of flavors for at least an hour when you go. So much fun exploring scents and tastes.

This is mainly a shop selling dozens of different teas but they'll make a cup of tea too. There are other specialty foods there and the service was very friendly and helpful. The shop ambience was very light and clean. Nice reason to visit Hood River.
