Thank you for the review. The museum is 3.5 acres of indoor displays that cover all kinds of transportation history and related artifacts with over 325 airplanes, cars, and motorcycles.

We never get tired of going through this wonderful museum. Such meticulous airplanes, autos and much more. Lots of volunteers to help answer questions. History after history lessons in this place. Take your time and ask the volunteers to help with information.

Thank you for reviewing. Our volunteers love giving out information but for those that are a bit too shy to ask a lot of fun stories and information can also be found on our website under the collections tab as well.

Thank you for the review. We cover all sorts of transportation history and related ephemera in our 3.5 acres of indoor display space beyond just the airplanes and automobiles. One part of the building has been transformed into a "Memory Lane" to give many of...More

A true treasure of a museum, Beautiful, mostly functional aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, etc. On our day they had several of the cars out for rides and some of the folks that had restored the cars were the drivers. This is not to be missed if...More

If we hadn't gotten stuck in Hood River for two days we would have missed a true treasure. The WAAAM is excellent, well worth the two or three hours you will spend walking among the 100's of working planes, cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Yes, working....More

Thank you for the review. As you mentioned, it is one thing to know that the WAAAM collection still flies and drives and it is another to experience it in person - join us on the Second Saturday of the month to check it out.

Thank you for reviewing. Tickets to the museum are good for the entire day. Many visitors prefer to visit in the morning, break for lunch, then come back in the afternoon to get the most out of their museum experience.

Thank you for reviewing. The WAAAM Collection focuses on the Golden Age of Transportation and Aviation - roughly the 1910s to the 1960s or so. These cars, airplanes, and motorcycles are the things that your average person would have owned back in the day.

This museum is a hidden treasure. The collection of unique aircraft and automobiles is astounding. The most impressive thing is that all the aircraft are in flying condition.

Yes. Taking photos is highly encouraged and the volunteer hosts out on the exhibit floor are often more than happy to get you behind the display ropes for a super-up-close shot too.
