We didn’t know what to expect but we were absolutely blown away with the collection, volunteers and the layout. One of the better museums we have ever had the pleasure to visit. For only being in existence for (I think they told us) 10 years,...More

What a neat place. This museum has 3 acres inside multiple hangers to display the antique. We were told that all of there displays are funtionable. They had a lot of unique planes, cars and motorcycles. This is a hidden jem.

Thank you for reviewing. On the weekend after Labor Day, WAAAM hosts the Annual Hood River Fly-In. This event is a great way to see even more antique and classic airplanes flying about the area in addition to the museum fun.

We had a dinner there for an event we attended. With all that was going on for the event, we didn't have time to walk through the museum, just passed through to the dinner location. It looked like they had some very interesting airplanes and...More

Thank you for the review. WAAAM's collection focuses on the Golden Age of Transportation and Aviation - roughly the 1910s through the 1950s although the automobiles do get up into the 1960s and '70s. With such a range there is always something for everyone to...More

Yes. Taking photos is highly encouraged and the volunteer hosts out on the exhibit floor are often more than happy to get you behind the display ropes for a super-up-close shot too.
