This was such a fun visit. Around every corner there was something new, and different, and exciting.

I’ve learned about so many car manufacturers that I’ve never even heard of previously. It was a great visit, with surprises like S7 Saleen being a huge bonus.

Worth a visit and a drive out there for sure!

Amazing collection of cars and aeroplanes across the years. And virtually everything is functional!! What a group of volunteers it must take to accomplish everything. Docents walk around and help answer questions. A definite must see in the area.

We decided to stop by here on an afternoon with visiting relatives who like to fly. We ran out of time, there was so much to see! Even if you don’t like airplanes; they have many interesting collections. The cars are beautiful!

This museum is class AAA! Mostly airplanes and cars from the early 1900’s through 1940. In spectacular condition and FUNCTIONING!! One day is not enough. They fly a few every second Saturday!! Everything looks like they just rolled off the assembly line or better!! Can’t wait to go back.

So many airplanes and old cars to see here. Self guided tour let's you move at your own pace. Some items have more information than others. Lots of walking so be ready for that...which was nice since we had been in the car for so long.

We found this museum by accident. We ended up in Hood River on a short road trip and wanted to do something different. It is worth the time to visit. So many planes and cars it would have taken more than the 2 hours we were there to see everything. Very impressed

Taking up several football sized display areas under roof, it takes 2-3 hours to give it justice and see the huge collection of antique planes, autos, and other related paraphernalia. I'm not even a plane or car buff, but I thoroughly enjoyed this collection and talking to some of the 150 volunteers who keep the place spic and span and equipment ready to fly or ride. It's a living museum for restored planes and cars that go out for joy rides regularly! Many educational displays and videos to watch. Great gift shop, too. Recommend you stay nearby at the Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa.

Want to see over 350 airplanes, automobiles, motorcycles, jeeps, and tractors that actually work, go to this museum. Once a month they have times that you can learn how to drive a Model T car, check their website for times. Many volunteers are around to happily tell you about the items on display. A gift show is at the front along with some drinks, which are also available in the middle of the display. Plan to spend several hours there to walk around and see the exhibits.

What a hidden gem tucked away near Odell and Hood River! This was our first visit and we were amazed by the collection of airplanes, vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles, as well as toys, radios and military displays. We were especially fond of the Cessna Bobcat from Sky King, the classic cars from the 60s and the newest addition the Ford Trimoter. The volunteers we met were exceptionally engaging and knowledgeable.

Wow, wear your most comfortable shoes, because this place is very large and amazing! There are old planes, old cars, motorcycles, toys, aeronautical things, etc. You can rent a motorized cart to get around -- it's really that big! There are little stations with short clips of people, events of interest. I could have spent all day here. There is small "refreshment" area with tables, chairs, drinks. Free ample parking out front, easy to find. The volunteers are tremendous. Even if not an aviation enthusiast, you will find something interesting here.
