Had a blast walking the grounds during Halloween 2012. They have literally hundreds of pumpkins lying around the field for ppl to choose for purchase; I just soak in the atmosphere and photo snapping. They have a section where they carved images on pumpkins which...More

We had a great time picking out our pumpkins for October decorations. Lots to do - kids have a great time. Can get really crowded and traffic and get thick, so be prepared. Definitely fun to do at least once.

While Roloff Farms is only open during pumpkin season, they definitely do things right during their "short" season! From the wagon tour to adventureland to the overall ambiance, we were greatly impressed. And the the best thing was meeting and talking to Amy and Matt!!...More

This was the reason we traveled to Oregon! We met both Amy and Matt, without paying the outrageous tour fee. The tour of the farm is worth the money and so is adding the additional attraction area.

You will not be allowed to wander freely on the farm. Except during pumpkin season, but you are guided beyond the pumpkin patch and event area. The only way to see the farm is with a reservation which you can book up to 30... More

They have group tours during Pumpkin Season (weekends in October only) via wagon ride around the farm. It's a 30 minute tour. They do private tours the rest of the year.

We will be Flying to Portland June 6 and staying for 8 days. We will be staying in Molalla with my sister and looking to get some good ideas of places to get interesting photo opportunities. Our local county fair is in July and I was hoping to make my entries Oregon related this year. I would highly recommend the Rose Garden (the actual garden, not the sports arena) and/or the Japanese Gardens. The roses may be on their way downhill...but then again, there may be some great photo ops. I am ashamed to say that I haven't visited the Chinese Garden yet. I know, I know....local = haven't been there yet. My bad! You could also photograph some of the bridges. The St. Johns bridge is very picturesque.
