Pretty sure I've told everyone I know about this hidden gem. We love the jet boats so much that we drove from California to Oregon JUST to go on the jet boats. We love every bit of it from the spins, to the wildlife, to the soaking, to the cocktails, to the dinner!

If you visit Grants Pass, Oregon, or if you are going to be passing through, take the time to go on a Jet Boat ride! You will not be disappointed. The tickets vary in price for length of ride and/or if you want to do the breakfast or lunch that goes along with the price. I definitely recommend the shorter one-hour ride for the elderly or small children who are unfamiliar with water etiquette or are afraid of the water. My recommendation as far as dressing is light and casual, because you are almost guaranteed to get soaking wet. Denims are a definite no-no on this boat ride, as they tend to stay wet and get heavy, the wetter they are. Wear light cotton pants or shorts are even better. The Captains here know these waters and are entertaining as well. Give them a generous tip, because you will not be disappointed in their rhetoric, stories, or boating maneuvers. Wearing makeup and having your hair done for this excursion is a definite waste of time ladies.

We took the 1 hour excursion up the river and everyone, including my wife who was initially scared- had a blast. The boat captain talked about the area and showed us some interesting things along the river. He also made sure to show us the power of the jetboat with some quick runs on the river, and plenty of spins or donuts that everyone enjoyed.

It was “ok”. A very “touristy” excursion. I didn’t care for the beginning at all going by all the River front houses - I wanted to see the River and wildlife. The brunch was a nice idea but the food was cold and bland. A 4 hour trip and you are only on the water for 2! Lots of wasted time at brunch - well over and hour - it was boring. The guide zipped by tons of wildlife. The goal of the ride back was just to get everyone wet multiple times and spin the boat around a lot. Should have gone white water rafting.

My wife and I went on the brunch cruise and had a wonderful time. The boat captain narrated the entire trip about the history and nature along the river. The brunch at there restaurant along the river was way above five star with great food and service. Not expensive to have five hours of fun.
