Excellent Sites

We've stayed here many time. Always a great experience. Every time we're here is quiet and spacious sites. Dogs are welcome and they provide a super large dog park. Hard to find if at all satalite service but a nice selection of antenna channels. Reason being there are beautiful trees. I really love this park.

Best dog park I’ve ever happened upon. Lots of space. Great dogs. Water available. Park asks for a fee to park.

Was looking for a place to eat our lunch when we seen the signs to park. Has a nice looking camp ground area and the park has a large dog park.

County Campground on Rogue River
Jun 2019
This is one of several nice county campgrounds on the Rogue River in Josephine County. The most famous is Indian Mary, but don't forget to check out the others. We stayed at Schroeder in a 5th wheel trailer in June. It is a nice quiet campground with many trees and a large grassy area next to the sites with full hookups. The designated tent sites are RV friendly if you don't need hookups. We actually preferred these as they are a bit closer to the river and more spacious. A good stop.

Nice County Park
Jun 2018 • Family
We stayed in our motorhome for about a week in late 2017. The weather was nice, the spots were large and had plenty of space for parking and being outside. The river is really nice right there. There seemed to be a little drama, with the Sheriff being called out and some unruly campers in the tent area. But the staff dealt with it quickly and we felt safe- huge issue since we had our grandson with us.

Great camping

Great camping by the rogue river. Tent camping, rv camping, yurts. Close to town but feels like country. Great for bikes, fishing or relaxing.

Beautiful Riverside Park

As a Texan, just gotta say, "We got nothing like this :-)" Beautiful park for tennis, day camping, or overnight camping and great launch site for the Rogue River. You can fish or play there...$5 launch fee for the day.

Not a campground for a pleasant experience
Jun 2018 • Couples
The host immediately told use not to leave anything unsecured due to many thefts. The roads are very rough, especially in the tent camping area, which is a shambles: very limited shade, one portable toilet, dirty sites. Virtually no enforcement of rules. People yelling profanities and racial epithets. Extremely loud parties on Friday and Saturday nights until 2:00 AM: intoxication, loud music from a car including the engine running and the headlights shining into adjacent sites. Dogs on very long leads charging and barking at people passing the site. No security, law enforcement, host patrolling.

Cruising along great for a picnic
Aug 2017 • Couples
Cruising along great for a picnic. When we travel we usually have lunch along the road. If you need a place to rest by the river this is the stop.
