Cruising along great for a picnic. When we travel we usually have lunch along the road. If you need a place to rest by the river this is the stop.

Schroeder Park is wonderful place for a picnic or place to go fishing. There are lots of walks that can be taken along the banks of the Rogue River. It will accommodate large picnic groups.

If you are a boater, this park would be much higher rated. For the day user, it was not exciting. Parking cost $5/day. Grounds are rough. There was construction. Campground was about 5% full. Restrooms were nice.

We were there for a dog show. The dog park was fantastic. I am not a fan of them, but it wasn't being used a lot in the colder chilly weather and we dog show people invaded the park and parking lot. Lots of parking,...More

Nice, quiet and shady park. Don't expect satellite if you are in an RV (30 Amp with sewer and water hookups). Right on the river with a boat ramp. Fenced dog park just up the hill. May occasionally have some homeless traveling through, but seemed...More
