As a Texan, just gotta say, "We got nothing like this :-)" Beautiful park for tennis, day camping, or overnight camping and great launch site for the Rogue River. You can fish or play there...$5 launch fee for the day.

Cruising along great for a picnic. When we travel we usually have lunch along the road. If you need a place to rest by the river this is the stop.

Schroeder Park is wonderful place for a picnic or place to go fishing. There are lots of walks that can be taken along the banks of the Rogue River. It will accommodate large picnic groups.

If you are a boater, this park would be much higher rated. For the day user, it was not exciting. Parking cost $5/day. Grounds are rough. There was construction. Campground was about 5% full. Restrooms were nice.

We love to go there as often as we are able. The grandkids love the playground and they also love the area around the large duck and turtle pond next to the river. My husband's musical group plays there every week in the summer in...More
